The Sunnis already know they are not going to get back control and they don't want to split from the hand that feeds them, they just want more money because they know money is all they will have. So, even though the Sunnis have "lost" the war, they're still fighting, but just for the money? But wait a minute. What war? I didn't think there was a war.

The war which we removed their leader from power but there is not a civil war right now, there is gang violence and no worse than what other mafia influenced countries have gone through. NBC's whole definition lies on one notion, the Sunnis believe they will regain control of the Government through violence which won't happen unless they populate like rabbits instead of getting killed. Baghdad has almost 6 million people of primarily 3 religious sects and for this to be a civil war there would definitely be more than even 150 killed a day.
