Are you dense?
It seemed very apparent to me that the people in the ads were neighbors unsure of which spouse gave them the car as a present.

no I'm not dense and there is no reason to put me down. The ad may appear to be about one thing but is totally obvious another. My hubby has watched both commericals and agrees with me. Just because you disagree about the content of the commerical doesn't mean you should be calling me dense. So rude!

Exactly.
But I'm not buying a Lexus either, due to other considerations that aren't in my bank account.

It seemed very apparent to me that the people in the ads were neighbors unsure of which spouse gave them the car as a present.I guess you're right. I saw the guys yesterday and mentioned it to my son today. I thought for sure it was a gay-targeted commercial. Just as I'm talking to my son, the women came on. It seemed a bit more obvious in that commercial that they were neighbors.
Excuse me while I go rush to judgment on some other issue...

That's how I, too, perceived the advertisement.

Yep.
Jeez, this thread is really embarrassing for Freepers as a whole. Shame on you, Halls.
