Unfortunately, I can't say that I was really shocked ... it's just more evidence of what I've reluctantly come to realize since 9/11 (which was a wakeup call for many of us here, I think), and which has been borne out by the events of the years since.
It was more about the admission, than the belief itself. I'm sure a good percent of them were thinking in terms of the "Palestinians", the useful idiot population that epitomizes Arab/Muslim "humiliation". If everything is Allah's will, the reminder that Allah has favored Jews over Muslims forces a disconnect, a dire threat to their faith.
