Sprinkle turkey with lemon juice. Chill several hours. 2 hours before serving, add celery, grapes, eggs and salad dressing.
- 2 c. turkey, cooked, diced
- 1 c. seedless grapes or pineapple, sliced or diced
- 2 c. , diced celery
- 1/2 med. red onion, diced
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 1/2 to 3/4 c. salad dressing, or mayo
- 2 tbsp. fresh lemon juice
- 2 hard boiled eggs, crumbled
Tip: Toasted Almonds, slivered are great in this recipe .. Sprinkled before serving..
I've done that same recipe before. But one time I just happened to have some left over cooked wild rice that I added, along with some small cubes of pepper jack cheese. Really jazzed it up!
I improvise a lot when cooking.
That sounds great saved that one for the Christmas left over turkey.
