The net effect of a ban would be roughly the equivalent of the Washington DC, Chicago, or NYC banning handguns, then complaining about the rising problem of "illegal guns." If the problem is stray dogs, round them up and euthanize them....but you don't need a breed ban to do that. Perhaps some of ya'll would like a return to feudal europe where only the nobility could own certain breeds, and we peasants had to settle for a mutt if we could afford it after paying the onerous taxes to our lords. Personally I prefer the system our founding fathers set up, but if ya'll prefer government as a solution to all problems, my only word of advice would be to stay out of the king's forest...it's full of mastiffs looking for poachers.
