Working people frequently ask retired people what they do to make their days interesting.
Well, for example, the other day I went down town and went into a shop. I was only in there for about 5 minutes and when I came out there was a cop writing out a parking ticket.
I went up to him and said, "Come on, man, how about giving a retired person a break"? He ignored me and continued writing the ticket. I called him a "Nazi." He glared at me and started writing another ticket for having worn tires. So I called him a "doughnut eating Gestapo agent." He finished the second ticket and put it on the windshield with the first. Then he started writing a third ticket. This went on for about 20 minutes. The more I abused him, the more tickets he wrote.
Personally, I didn't care. I came down town on the bus; and the car that he was putting the tickets on had a bumper sticker that said "Hillary in '08."
I try to have a little fun each day now that I'm retired. It's important to my health.
LMAO.....
Maybe you need to find a hobby.
I hope you didn't actually do this.
Police should be respected, not "Borated".
LOL! I love it.
I gotta move to a bigger town where there are liberals. LOL
ROFLMAO!
Gotta remember that one, for those days my retirement become boring.
You have to be careful not to provoke him too much though,I suppose, so he doesn't cuff you, throw you in the car and haul you off to jail.
I think he has one ...
Oh, man you are fantastic. That is just, JUST too great. Fuss on!!!
That was illustrated in the comic strip Pickles by Brian Crane about a year ago.
urban legend. if you harassed a coip like that in real life, you'd be run in for breach of peace or intefereing with an officer. the cop certainly would NOT simply write more tickets.
i've seen this story many times before and it simply doesnt' work - cops don't behave that way.
it IS funny tho...
I didn't know that. A buddy of mine sent it to me yesterday.
BRILLIANT!
It's still a great joke.
In early '03, a group of us FReepers went into downtown Houston to FReep an A.N.S.W.E.R. anti-war rally. (We really pissed 'em off by being there, too.)
Anyway, we got there before the rally started so we could set up. A couple of our guys walked around the parking area and wrote down license plate numbers of any cars that had "NO WAR" and other such bumper stickers on them in conjunction with expired tags or inspection stickers.
The police were very friendly to us and got us a kick-ass location for our FReep. Our guys gave them the list of license plate numbers and pointed out the general area of where the offending vehicles were parked.
:-)
I remember that! Wasn't that when the cute little boy held a sign and helped us out?
Thanks for the laugh! :o)
LMAO!!!
