AS a Gator fan, I'm confortable with FSU getting Fedora and his dink and dunk offense.

Why is it no one ever tries to hire FSU's defensive coordinator Mickey Andrews away? Why is he never mentioned to succeed Bobby B? Just wondering.

Richt knows that UGA will be back strong next year. Stafford showed what he's capable of against Auburn.

FSU will never have the guts to push Bobby out. They named the freaking stadium after him.

Bobby's next if they don't improve.

Bobby Bowden's not going anywhere, until he's ready to leave.

OTOH, Richt better quickly find a defense.

Unfortunately, he's leaving at the END of this season. That's at least one season too many.

Then again, what's the rush? This season's ruined for them already - if they lose against Western Michigan (highly unlikely) and Florida (likely), they won't even be bowl eligible.

Bobby hasn't coached the team in some time. I have not been to a game in some 8 years. Even then he was not engaged in operations. He'd walk up and down griping at the refs, but was not coaching.

IMO he's there because ghetto moms trust Bobby & he is our recruiting poster child.

Sure, the season's one big mess. But is that a positive reason for why the guy should be retained in the position? I mean, FSU has given him the great golden parachute Daddy set him up with, and we 'might as well work him if we're paying him,' but working him is like asking a plow horse to win the Preakness. It's just not gonna produce squat. Far better to give the reins to someone with an interest in winning than someone who doesn't care and worse, can't do the job. Ditching him might mean we discover gold buried in Bobby's backyard. Keeping him means demoralized seniors and disappointed fans, because there is no chance of improvement on offense at all.
