Sure, the season's one big mess. But is that a positive reason for why the guy should be retained in the position? I mean, FSU has given him the great golden parachute Daddy set him up with, and we 'might as well work him if we're paying him,' but working him is like asking a plow horse to win the Preakness. It's just not gonna produce squat. Far better to give the reins to someone with an interest in winning than someone who doesn't care and worse, can't do the job. Ditching him might mean we discover gold buried in Bobby's backyard. Keeping him means demoralized seniors and disappointed fans, because there is no chance of improvement on offense at all.
