?China sub stalks USS Kittyhawk? and 9/11 Lesson

Posted on 11/12/2006 9:20:23 PM PST by Gene Eric

DRUDGE REPORT - PAPER: CHINA SUB STALKS USS KITTY HAWK

If 9/11 did not occur, I’d be less inclined to contemplate the Chinese nipping at the propellers of our Naval fleet.

We learned the hard way that the world’s greatest military machine and supporting private sector technology could not be applied to foil the 9/11 attack. Clearly, this is not the fault of the technology nor the capability; but the slumber we have yet to escape.

If we continue to snooze, the inevitable awakening will be a rude one for all.

Here's the link to a free e-book I have written that epitomizes the awful potential of that slumber...particularly in light of the most recent elections.

It is a single volume that contains all five of the former volumes...and has been updated since the original writing:

FREE DRAGON'S FURY EBOOK

The bottom line is that the story tries to portray the potential very real and grave dangers we face in today's geo-political climate...and to do so in what is hopefully an exciting and engrossing read.

And...for Freepers, the ebook is free.

Potential war with China. Good thing the Democrats are in charge to protect us.

Apparently, they like handouts. Small excerpt from WND article. on

Earlier this year, Cuba announced plans to hire the communist Chinese to drill for oil off Key West, Fla. The move was made possible by the 1977 agreement under President Jimmy Carter that created for Cuba an "Exclusive Economic Zone" extending from the western tip of Cuba to the north, virtually to Key West.

Carter was always on the look out for us.

And to think Castro made him look like an ass. Carter is one creepy man.

My bad, I used the term 'slumber' in the figurative context.

"Additionally, military intelligence officials said Adm. Fallon has restricted U.S. intelligence-gathering activities against China, fearing that disclosure of the activities would upset relations with Beijing."

I'm so glad we are worrying about upsetting the chinese. Maybe we should have just given the keys to the kittyhawk to the chinese.

>> Welcome to Free Republic!

Thanks! Heard about it on the Mark Levin Show years ago and decided to come on board during an unfortunate and sleepless election night.

Or, perhaps Loral's engineering documents...

Let's not forget the Chinese aggression against our Satellites a few months ago.

I'd like to understand what the Chinese hope to gain by antagonizing the U.S.

Well, hang out and hang tough. Get yourself on your state board. If your state board is not very active, just keep browsing and reading and sharing your thoughts. I've made many friends through FR. Not just "online" friends. We get together!
