Will Dems share power?

Now that Dems have held on to a slight majority.. a lot slighter than what Republicans had in the last house races..

I have a question: Will Democrats share power... will they appoint equals from both paries to represent the people?

I know They wanted power sharing last time Republicans won with a very clear majority.

this election was won with a 50k-100k vote margin you know

KEYWORDS: election; share

I hope the dim wits in congress take not this time. Victory is not to be shared with the loser.

By February 2007, the congress will be a battle zone. There is a lot of payback that will replace all this nonsense regarding a claimed return to bipartisanship that does not exist any more.

The demo craps took partisan politics to entirely new levels, and they will reap the price of their audacity.

I doubt it. The GOP rarely seeks revenge. Even after the Clarence Thomas hearing, the GOP gave Ruth Bater Ginsburg an easy pass. The Dems usually escalates the battles, and the GOP is afraid to even use the same tactics the Dems just got done using on them. The GOP respects the government institutions, while the Dems sink to any level to advance their cause.

I just hope we get a Minority Leader with some testicular fortitude. Somebody like Sessions IMHO

Frist was a flop, and well deserves a share of the blame for this disaster we face..

The personality of the party will likely revert back to what we were as a minority. It has not been all that long ago, and we were not all warm and fuzzy, as we were attempting to do as the majority.

Secondly, the Dem's engaged in some very personal attacks while in the minority. I have never seen more requests to have a congressman's words taken down.

I think you will be surprised to see the results of all this, and they have no reason to protect their now totally lamed president.

Bush, on the other hand, is quite adept at triangulating the opposition, and he will get a couple things through. After which, everything will totally shut down, and not even the budget will pass...There will be total gridlock.

Frist is not responsible for being forced to do what he did to chase the base voters...

During the process of trying to sew up a disaffected political base, he did affect and encourage the swing voter defections to the other side, but he was dealing with the reality of a screwed up constituent base, and it is not his responsibility to cure those ills. The base was completely fragmented and and lost cohesiveness, forcing him to chase groups and segments, and pissing off the rest.

All this finger pointing at leadership is nonsense.

If you want to know why we lost, and will continue to lose, just look in the mirror. The answer will be looking back at you.

Correct Always Right. The rats are talking "Congressinal Oversight." Well, we had control of it for SIX FLIPPING YEARS - did Republicans prosecute Sandy Burglar? (Can you imagine what would have happened if Condi Rice smuggled national security documents in her panties? Resignation, prison, impeachment of the President...)

How about William Jefferson, the Ice Box Bubba? NO resignation, the GOP actually fought for his right to hide items in his office. And he's running for re-election.

The RAT congressman who had SEX with a young page? THEY DEMANDED PRIVACY from the media! The congressman was re-elected. But our guy writes smarmy emails, we force him to resign and we are branded corrupt.

What's his name (Schumer?)'s illegal land deal in AZ, and the left's aspiring young black presidential candidate - his shady house deal with a mafia guy - NOT a word from the press and NO "Congressional Oversight" by the Republicans.

Sorry, I am madder at our weakness than I am the left's corruption and outrageous behavior.

I absolutely agree with everything you just said.

I have sent emails and snail mail to my congress-critters
and have explained to them what they are seen as in the
eyes of the "Outside the Beltway" world.

They are well aware that we are pi$$ed, but will they do
anything is another thing. Cutting of $$'s was my first way
to show them, sending actual letters is my next attempt
of letting them know how utterly inept they have become.

Thanks

..and another thing,

Conservative women have more guts than the guys.....
Show me one guy that actually gets in the face of the
libs. Shumer, McAwful, even Dashole in his little metro
sexual sissy voice would let fly with vitriolic spew..

There, I think I'm done for awhile...LOL

What a totally silly question. In your neighborhood do bears come out of the woods to do their business in the street? Do swine have avian qualities unknown elsewhere?

The Republican leadership is hapless. Frist and Bush are inept at enforcing party discipline.

The base is disgusted and sick of backstabbing assclown turncoats like John McCain who throw monkey wrenches into the party, and weak party leaders like Bush who sign bills like CFR in the hope that the liberal SCOTUS will declare them unconstitutional.

Ball-less, whimpering, weaklings all.
