I think it is good to have the income etc. Clears out that area of awkwardness etc right off bat & lets one know if the other person meets their criteria. There are a lot of men & women where $$$/income does NOT matter & there are a lot where it is the first thing checked. I see nothing wrong with including income, but I object to the fact that they made me give my income in order to continue on the site after I had created my profile. If they'd said at the beginning that I must include my income in order to have a profile, I'd have the option of quitting the site immediately. They have the right to ask, and I have the right to leave if I don't want to answer. My objection is that they let me create the profile and put myself out there but then forced me to give that information to see the site again. That kind of bait and switch tactic bothers me. I think they need to be open about all of the requirements from the beginning.

geeze, that didn't happen to me Bill.
I cruised around the site quite a bit before I decided to register.
How long ago was it? maybe it was a software glitch that is now okay.
I don't blame you for not liking the idea. I don't like to have to sign up to read many newspapers on line - and often do NOT sign up. Miss some things, but sometimes I just feel more ornery than others
