I became a huge '49'ers fan while stationed in California in the early '80's while serving in the Air Force. It was a great time to become a '49'ers fan, and Joe Montana & Co. had unreal talent and skill........and the best coach in the NFL.

I never realized he didn't become a head coach until was 47! Truly a great offensive mind.
As much as I despised the Niners in the late '80s-early '90s(they nearly always found a way to beat some pretty good Saints teams), I hope Walsh wins this battle, because he was a true wizard when he introduced the West Coast offense.
