Friends, tomorrow the movers come to pack us, Tuesday to load us, and Wednesday we go to Boise. I will be off line, unless I get to a library until Friday at the earliest come Wednesday, and possibly even Tuesday.
Please say a prayer for me that the move goes well, and that the weather which is supposed to come in on Monday and Tuesday be done with and I won't have bad weather to drive in on Wednesday.
This day O Lord,
teach me to share your word
to those around me
even when I say nothing,
silently
all throughout the day
by the way I act,
the things I choose,
the deeds I do.
Fill my heart with your love,
so that I can love
openheartedly
for your glory.
Fill my mind with your patience,
so I can see beyond
appearances
to the child of God that is each and every one of us.
Fill my hands with your compassion,
so I can reach out and
touch
whereever you show me the need for mercy.
Lord,
give me of your strength
so that as I see this sorrowful world
in its pain and grief
I will not despair,
but remember
how you gave your life in pain and sorrow,
in the most brilliant moment of love
for just this sad place
and understand
that it has value for you.
Help me always to remember to give
thanks
that you love us,
no matter how dark it gets,
and in the end,
you are there,
to be our light,
our beacon,
our hope,
this day, and always.
Amen.

Father, I ask, and will keep before you in the coming days, a request that you would make a way for KAC while she is moving.
You ride on the wings of the wind, so direct it to the best advantage for good weather.
Lead her in paths of righteousness and good roads, for your Name's sake, because you love her family.
Give her support and strength beyond herself.
Keep her eyes refreshed.
Guard her from unnecessary tension in her muscles.
Bring her rejoicing when the work is done back into Prayer Fellowship with us, who will miss her.......
Psa 23:1 A Psalm of David. The LORD is my shepherd; I shall not want.
Psa 23:2 He makes me lie down in green pastures. He leads me beside still waters.
Psa 23:3 He restores my soul. He leads me in paths of righteousness for his name's sake.
Psa 23:4 Even though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil, for you are with me; your rod and your staff, they comfort me.
Psa 23:5 You prepare a table before me in the presence of my enemies; you anoint my head with oil; my cup overflows.
Psa 23:6 Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me all the days of my life, and I shall dwell in the house of the LORD forever.
Amen, KAC. Prayers from NY that your move goes smoothly.
Knitting, know that our thoughts and prayers will be with you as you move to Boise. May your strength be His Strength alone. FOR SURE you will be MISSED here!!!

Amen ! This poem just blessed me so much!!
Godspeed on your journey, Knitting. *This, too, shall pass.* Just think how short a week is when we're doing everyday things, not making a big move.
In 4-5 days, you'll be deposited in a new place, with all the busyness and loving work ahead of you that dispels time for worry, doubt or regrets. Each 24 hours is a time of renewal.
One day at a time, we build bridges from "then" to "now."
Matthew 6:34 - "Take therefore no thought for the morrow: for the morrow shall take thought for the things of itself. Sufficient unto the day is the evil thereof."
Our gracious giving Lord keep thee well, safe, energetic, enthused as you move and settle and adjust. I'll miss you here, and look forward to a ping when you get back online, dear Knitting.
