Amen, KAC.
Rom 1:19 For what can be known about God is plain to them, because God has shown it to them.
Rom 1:20 For his invisible attributes, namely, his eternal power and divine nature, have been clearly perceived, ever since the creation of the world, in the things that have been made. So they are without excuse.
Glorious, Marvelous Creator, by whom all things were made, and without whom was nothing made that was made, I praise you for your creation, and say it is very good.
Thank you for the beauty we are surrounded by, for the working of your creation. Thank you for the wonder of your creatures, and every living thing in the earth and the heavens and sea.
They show us how beautiful and glorious you are, how mighty and awesome your thoughts toward us. We praise you, we praise you and rejoice in this life you have given us.
Give us strength and wellness and patient endurance. Help us to see you today in the beauty of a pasture, or a mountain, or stream, or cloud or in the wind.
Help my fellow pray-ers today in every aspect of their lives, and press into their hearts the deep love by which you have loved us.
Jer 31:3 the LORD appeared to him from far away. I have loved you with an everlasting love; therefore I have continued my faithfulness to you.
Hos 11:4 I led them with cords of kindness, with the bands of love, and I became to them as one who eases the yoke on their jaws, and I bent down to them and fed them.
Let the melody of your Love sing to our spirits today. Praise you. Precious Saviour.
For the Beauty of the Earth
For the beauty of the earth
For the glory of the skies,
For the love which from our birth
Over and around us lies.
Refrain
Lord of all, to Thee we raise,
This our hymn of grateful praise.
For the beauty of each hour,
Of the day and of the night,
Hill and vale, and tree and flower,
Sun and moon, and stars of light.
Refrain
For the joy of ear and eye,
For the heart and minds delight,
For the mystic harmony
Linking sense to sound and sight.
Refrain
For the joy of human love,
Brother, sister, parent, child,
Friends on earth and friends above,
For all gentle thoughts and mild.
Refrain
For Thy Church, that evermore
Lifteth holy hands above,
Offering upon every shore
Her pure sacrifice of love.
Refrain
For Thyself, best Gift Divine,
To the world so freely given,
For that great, great love of Thine,
Peace on earth and joy in heaven.
