Through the cleansing blood of the dying Lamb,
Through the pow’r of grace and the precious Name,
Through the light that beams from the Morning Star,
More than conquerors, conquerors we are.

Refrain

More than conquerors, more than conquerors,
Through the cleansing blood of the dying Lamb,
More than conquerors! more than conquerors,
Through the pow’r of grace and the precious Name.

Who shall sever us from the Savior’s love,
Or shall blot our names from Life’s book above?
Neither present things, nor the things to come,
Shall defeat our souls of the heav’nly home.

Refrain

More than conquerors! There our Captain stands,
While our names are graven upon His hands;
Though the pow’rs of darkness against us frown,
We shall win the fight, and shall wear the crown.

Pe 1:18 ....you were ransomed from the futile ways inherited from your forefathers, not with perishable things such as silver or gold,
1Pe 1:19 but with the precious blood of Christ, like that of a lamb without blemish or spot.
1Pe 1:20 He was foreknown before the foundation of the world but was made manifest in the last times for your sake,
1Pe 1:21 who through him are believers in God, who raised him from the dead and gave him glory, so that your faith and hope are in God.
1Pe 1:22 Having purified your souls by your obedience to the truth for a sincere brotherly love, love one another earnestly from a pure heart,
1Pe 1:23 since you have been born again, not of perishable seed but of imperishable, through the living and abiding word of God;
1Pe 1:24 for "All flesh is like grass and all its glory like the flower of grass. The grass withers, and the flower falls,
1Pe 1:25 but the word of the Lord remains forever." And this word is the good news that was preached to you.

Father,
I ask you for help with physical problems that we will all know as we age, if we are so Blessed to age.
Help me to be thankful for the many and uncountable Blessings you heap upon me daily.
I rejoice LORD.
You quicken my spirit with yours and give me joy.
These are light temporary afflictions in the perspective of eternity.
Your Word endures forever, and forever bears us up, higher and higher on eagles' wings.
Help our Brothers and Sisters who stand in peril and are completely dependant upon you for breath.
I ask for your Healing Love and Comfort and Peace.
Please provide for those who are burdened with catastrophic medical bills.
Let them hear Your Shepherd's Voice in green pastures.
I thank you for all, in Jesus' Name.

http://www.cyberhymnal.org/htm/l/m/lmsholds.htm

The Lord my Shepherd holds me
Within His tender care,
And with His flock He folds me,
No want shall find me there.
In pastures green He feeds me,
With plenty I am blest;
By quiet streams He leads me,
And makes me safely rest.

Whatever ill betides me,
He will restore and bless;
For His Name’s sake He guides me,
In paths of righteousness.
Thy rod and staff shall cheer me
In death’s dark vale and shade,
For Thou wilt then be near me;
I shall not be afraid.

My food Thou dost appoint me,
Supplied before my foes;
With oil Thou dost anoint me,
My cup of bliss o’erflows.
Thy goodness, Lord, shall guide me,
Thy mercy cheer my way;
A home Thou wilt provide me
Within Thy house always.

Thank you LORD for a new day to behold your wonderful love for us.

Psa 90:14 Satisfy us in the morning with your steadfast love, that we may rejoice and be glad all our days.

Give us this day our Daily Bread.

Joh 6:32 Jesus then said to them, "Truly, truly, I say to you, it was not Moses who gave you the bread from heaven, but my Father gives you the true bread from heaven.

Help us to do the work you have set before us.

2Ti 2:21 Therefore, if anyone cleanses himself from what is dishonorable, he will be a vessel for honorable use, set apart as holy, useful to the master of the house, ready for every good work.

I ask that my eyes be upon Jesus today.

Heb 12:1 Therefore, since we are surrounded by so great a cloud of witnesses, let us also lay aside every weight, and sin which clings so closely, and let us run with endurance the race that is set before us,
Heb 12:2 looking to Jesus, the founder and perfecter of our faith, who for the joy that was set before him endured the cross, despising the shame, and is seated at the right hand of the throne of God.

(to this melody, opened in another tab or window)
http://ingeb.org/songs/watrwide.mid

When I survey the wondrous cross
On which the Prince of glory died,
My richest gain I count but loss,
And pour contempt on all my pride.

Forbid it, Lord, that I should boast,
Save in the death of Christ my God!
All the vain things that charm me most,
I sacrifice them to His blood.

See from His head, His hands, His feet,
Sorrow and love flow mingled down!
Did e’er such love and sorrow meet,
Or thorns compose so rich a crown?

His dying crimson, like a robe,
Spreads o’er His body on the tree;
Then I am dead to all the globe,
And all the globe is dead to me.

Were the whole realm of nature mine,
That were a present far too small;
Love so amazing, so divine,
Demands my soul, my life, my all.

To Christ, Who won for sinners grace
By bitter grief and anguish sore,
Be praise from all the ransomed race
Forever and forevermore.

--Isaac Watts

Amen....
"When I survey the Wondrous Cross,"

I fall prostate on the ground saying I am unworthy to even have a small glimpse of They Glory.
Your mercy, love, and forgiveness floods my heart and soul with praise. I sing praises to Your name and will spend eternity with those redeemed by Your blood Praising and Thankful for Calvary Love.

I was Moved to Tears by our Brother William Cowper's Hymn; that Dear Man is One of the Persons I can't Wait to Meet in Heaven. Thank you, Dear Sister bp7, for Posting his Wonderful Work!

I was Reading Psalm63 this Morning, and Found a Cute Papaphrase of it:

"God, You're my God!
I can't get enough of you!
I've worked up such hunger and thirst for God,
Traveling across dry and weary deserts.

So here I am in the place of worship, eyes open,
Drinking in your strength and glory.
In your generous love I am really living at last!
My lips brim praises like fountains.
I bless you every time I take a breath;
My arms wave like banners of praise to you.

I eat my fill of prime rib and gravy;
I smack my lips. It's time to shout praises!
If I'm sleepless at midnight,
I spend the hours in grateful reflection.
Because you've always stood up for me,
I'm free to run and play.
I hold on to you for dear life,
and you hold me steady as a post."

Thank You, our Faithful and Loving Father, that You are Dependable and True. Your Love Never Fails! We Do Love You with All our Hearts. Thank You for Caring for us, for Providing for our Needs. Make us Like our Christ, and Grant us Forever and Ever with You. Through Your Grace Alone we Hope Upon God; we Lean Upon and Trust our All-Merciful God. In the Name of His Majesty the King, we Praise You our Lord, amen.

From Mr. Kayak,

http://www.freerepublic.com/focus/f-news/1753772/posts?page=529#529

We admitted Kay to the hospital again this afternoon so they can give her heavier doses of steroids to reduce the swelling in her brain associated with the excision of the tumor.

Kay has been experiencing lost motion on a gradually increasing scale since Tuesday and today we awoke to discover she has only about 10% use of her left arm. Therefore we went to the neurosurgeon for another CT scan and they confirmed swelling that was not being controlled by the lower doses of steroids she was already on.

The expectation is that she will be in the hospital through most of Sunday. We'll see.

Words are such meager tools for expressing the gratitude we feel for our friends and families as they reach out to and offer prayer for Kay and me. Again, Thank you.

Thanks, Knitting. I was about to track down that thread to see if we'd gotten any recent word on how Kay was doing.

Prayers heading her way. :-)

Mat 10:27 What I tell you in darkness, that speak ye in light: and what ye hear in the ear, that preach ye upon the housetops.

Dear Friends,
I have hurt my right shoulder and it is too painful to sit at my computer, so I write a brief note that when it is some better, in a day or two, I will post again. I will check in and agree with you in prayer from time to time.
The love of the LORD be with you all.

O Lord,
at times I feel so overwhelmed,
so much I want to do,
so much I ought to do,
so much I need to do
so little time.

Remind me of the days
when the crowds pressed you in
and you left before dawn,
or escaped in a boat
to have a little quiet
with your Father,
or of the days
you saw the people in their need
so many of them
and so few do to the work.

My beloved Master,
You who knows just how it feels,
send me the wisdom
to deal with my exasperations
and the patience to deal with the anger and irritation,
and how to deal with all that comes
by the light of your love.

Amen.

Unto You, O Lord, we return with praise and thanksgiving, for Your Word teaches that where there are two or more gathered in Your Name, there You are in our midst. Welcome, Lord Jesus, to this place of praise and prayer and petition ... may all that You see and hear this day be pleasing in Your sight.

Thank You, Merciful Father, for the gifts of ministry that You have given to bp7 and knitting and all those who labor in Your Name, for they bring forth Your Word to bless our hearts and our lives ... they bring forth prayer for those in need ... they bring comfort to troubled hearts ... they bring the Love of God to all who enter here. May Your servants be blessed beyond measure.

This day, O God, may Your healing hand be upon bp7 as she endures the discomfort in her shoulder. Touch her that she might be restored ... tend her, that she might quickly return to us, for she tenderly cares for Your sheep. Let our hearts be lifted in prayer and praise for all who are in need, for the known and the unknown, from the most pressing to the tiniest concern, for we are gathered here that You might be honored and glorified, now and forevermore. Amen ...
