You are so welcome - and thank you and other FReepers in the Prayer Room who lit candles for me. It is most appreciated - more than anyone could know, this afternoon, especially. Praise the Lord!

Psa 37:1.... Fret not yourself because of evildoers; be not envious of wrongdoers!
.........
Psa 37:7 Be still before the LORD and wait patiently for him; fret not yourself over the one who prospers in his way, over the man who carries out evil devices!
Psa 37:8 Refrain from anger, and forsake wrath! Fret not yourself; it tends only to evil.
...........
Psa 37:10 In just a little while, the wicked will be no more; though you look carefully at his place, he will not be there.
...........
Psa 37:12 The wicked plots against the righteous and gnashes his teeth at him,
Psa 37:13 but the Lord laughs at the wicked, for he sees that his day is coming.
Psa 37:14 The wicked draw the sword and bend their bows to bring down the poor and needy, to slay those whose way is upright;

Oh Lord, I am so distressed to see and to hear of the wickedness being done and planned with relish by those who hate you and your people. My mind is in anguish and I cry to you in astonishment and deep offense at the arrogance and evil of these people.

Here is what you say to me.......

Psa 37:3 Trust in the LORD, and do good; dwell in the land and befriend faithfulness.
Psa 37:4 Delight yourself in the LORD, and he will give you the desires of your heart.
Psa 37:5 Commit your way to the LORD; trust in him, and he will act.
Psa 37:6 He will bring forth your righteousness as the light, and your justice as the noonday.
Psa 37:7 Be still before the LORD and wait patiently for him;
..........
Psa 37:11 But the meek shall inherit the land and delight themselves in abundant peace.
..........
Psa 37:16 Better is the little that the righteous has than the abundance of many wicked.
...........
Psa 37:18 The LORD knows the days of the blameless, and their heritage will remain forever;
Psa 37:19 they are not put to shame in evil times; in the days of famine they have abundance.
...........
Psa 37:29 The righteous shall inherit the land and dwell upon it forever.
Psa 37:30 The mouth of the righteous utters wisdom, and his tongue speaks justice.
Psa 37:31 The law of his God is in his heart; his steps do not slip.
..........
Psa 37:39 The salvation of the righteous is from the LORD; he is their stronghold in the time of trouble.
Psa 37:40 The LORD helps them and delivers them; he delivers them from the wicked and saves them, because they take refuge in him.

Saviour Hasten Thine Appearing

http://www.cyberhymnal.org/htm/s/h/shtapper.htm

Savior! hasten Thine appearing;
Take Thy waiting people home!
’Tis this hope, our spirits cheering,
While we in the desert roam,
Makes Thy people
Strangers here till Thou shalt come.

Lord! how long shall the creation
Groan and travail sore in pain;
Waiting for its sure salvation,
When Thou shalt in glory reign,
And like Eden,
This sad earth shall bloom again?

Reign, oh, reign! almighty Savior!
Heaven and earth in one unite;
Make it known that in Thy favor
There alone is life and light.
When we see Thee,
We shall have unmixed delight.

Dear Kit,
I say a strong Amen to your prayer.
Here is something wonderful.
My favorite composer arranged hymns during the last Revival, early 1900's, as well as being a composer of great talent, Ralph Vaughn Williams.
This link will take you to a short biographical note with a listing of his hymn melodies.... Scroll down to see short names. click and breathe. I also love the poetry of George Herbert.

it is such a Blessing to me. The Welsh people were Blessed by God with Music.
Praise the Lord of Life.

Psa 40:1 To the choirmaster. A Psalm of David. I waited patiently for the LORD; he inclined to me and heard my cry.
Psa 40:2 He drew me up from the pit of destruction, out of the miry bog, and set my feet upon a rock, making my steps secure.
Psa 40:3 He put a new song in my mouth, a song of praise to our God. Many will see and fear, and put their trust in the LORD.
Psa 40:4 Blessed is the man who makes the LORD his trust, who does not turn to the proud, to those who go astray after a lie!
Psa 40:5 You have multiplied, O LORD my God, your wondrous deeds and your thoughts toward us; none can compare with you! I will proclaim and tell of them, yet they are more than can be told.
Psa 40:6 Sacrifice and offering you have not desired, but you have given me an open ear. Burnt offering and sin offering you have not required.
Psa 40:7 Then I said, "Behold, I have come; in the scroll of the book it is written of me:
Psa 40:8 I desire to do your will, O my God; your law is within my heart."
Psa 40:9 I have told the glad news of deliverance in the great congregation; behold, I have not restrained my lips, as you know, O LORD.
Psa 40:10 I have not hidden your deliverance within my heart; I have spoken of your faithfulness and your salvation; I have not concealed your steadfast love and your faithfulness from the great congregation.

Father in Heaven, Wonderful, Merciful, Longsuffering, Loving, ever providing, protecting, we praise you on this new day.
Go before us and make a way for us.
Guide us in this new day.
Open our mouths to speak of your goodness and faithfulness, and of the Beauty of our Saviour Jesus.
Let the Heavens be glad and the earth sing praise, let them say among the Nations, the LORD REIGNS.
We ask you to be with the persecuted Church today.
Give help and aid to all who are in distress and who cry out to you in need.
Thank you for the Glory of your creation, and for the Love of Families and Friends and Freepers.
We ask these things in the Name above all Names, that at the Name of Jesus, every knee would bow and every tongue confess that Jesus is Lord to the Glory of the Father.

Thank you So Much for these Beautiful and Spirit-Uplifting Melodies, and Ralph Vaughn Williams is a Blessing, and a Refreshment to my Heart. I'm Reading these Hymns as I Listen to the Music, and how Manifold are the Works of our King, Who has Given these Gifts to Mankind! Praises, and Glory, and Thanksgiving, and Honor be to our Wonderful God of Grace!

"Blessed are you, God of Israel,
Our Father from of old and forever.
To you, O God, belong the greatness and the might,
The glory, the victory, the majesty, the splendor;
Yes! Everything in heaven, everything on earth;
The kingdom all yours! You've raised yourself high over all.
Riches and glory come from you,
You're ruler over all;
You hold strength and power in the palm of your hand
To build up and strengthen all.
And here we are, O God, our God, giving thanks to you,
Praising your splendid Name." (1Chron.29:10-13)

We Worship You, O Lord our God, and Love the Greatness of Thy Name. Thank You for this Gathering of Thy Children, for Thy Tender Mercies, through Thy Grace. Your Compassions and Lovingkindness are Wonderous, our Lord, our Savior in Whom is our Hope. Fill Thy Servants with Thy Goodness, O God, and Use us to Draw Sinners to Your Son. Be Magnified Forever for Your Awesome Works, and Loved for Your Eternal, Great Grace. In Thy Name, for the Glory of the King, amen.

Greatly appreciated, Kit.
I pray that KAC isn't overwhelmed with moving, and that the Lord gives her rest and strength and every good thing.

Pe 4:7 The end of all things is at hand; therefore be self-controlled and sober-minded for the sake of your prayers.

1Jo 2:17 And the world is passing away along with its desires, but whoever does the will of God abides forever.

Oh Lord, things change so rapidly. I see that what we know is passing away. Your plan continues to unfold. I don't know what to expect. I know that you want to hold us close in these times and that we ought to seek you continually which will give us Grace and comfort and wisdom. As the world darkens, your light becomes greater.
I thank you for improved health from your loving hand. I ask for rest for us all, and a sweet preoccupation with you. Please pour out your Spirit and fill us again tonight. Strengthen our Faith and Hope in You. Give us that Hidden Manna. Make us like a gem in your signet ring. You are our Shield and Exceeding Great Reward. Let your Grace flow to all the intercessors.

Jud 1:24 Now to him who is able to keep you from stumbling and to present you blameless before the presence of his glory with great joy,
Jud 1:25 to the only God, our Savior, through Jesus Christ our Lord, be glory, majesty, dominion, and authority, before all time and now and forever. Amen.

The clouds of judgment gather,
The time is growing late;
Be sober and be watchful;
Our Judge is at the gate:
The Judge Who comes in mercy,
The Judge Who comes in might
To put an end to evil
And diadem the right.

Arise, O true disciples,
Let wrong give way to right,
And penitential shadow
To Jesus’ blessèd light:
The light that has no evening,
That knows no moon or sun,
The light so new and golden,
The light that is but one.

The home of fadeless splendor,
Of blooms that bear no thorn,
Where they shall dwell as children
Who here as exiles mourn;
The peace of all the faithful,
The calm of all the blest,
Inviolate, unfading,
Divinest, sweetest, best.

Oh, happy, holy portion,
Relief for all distressed,
True vision of true beauty,
Refreshment for the blest!
Strive now to win that glory;
Toil now to gain that light;
Send hope ahead to grasp it,
Till hope be lost in sight.

Isa 35:3 Strengthen the weak hands, and make firm the feeble knees.
Isa 35:4 Say to those who have an anxious heart, "Be strong; fear not! Behold, your God will come with vengeance, with the recompense of God. He will come and save you."
Isa 35:5 Then the eyes of the blind shall be opened, and the ears of the deaf unstopped;
Isa 35:6 then shall the lame man leap like a deer, and the tongue of the mute sing for joy. For waters break forth in the wilderness, and streams in the desert;
Isa 35:7 the burning sand shall become a pool, and the thirsty ground springs of water; in the haunt of jackals, where they lie down, the grass shall become reeds and rushes.
Isa 35:8 And a highway shall be there, and it shall be called the Way of Holiness; the unclean shall not pass over it. It shall belong to those who walk on the way; even if they are fools, they shall not go astray.
Isa 35:9 No lion shall be there, nor shall any ravenous beast come up on it; they shall not be found there, but the redeemed shall walk there.
Isa 35:10 And the ransomed of the LORD shall return and come to Zion with singing; everlasting joy shall be upon their heads; they shall obtain gladness and joy, and sorrow and sighing shall flee away.

Father, I pray that our eyes would be on you and our hands at your work, and our feet on the Kings Highway of Holiness. May we be confessing truth with our mouths today, in kindness and love, from a pure heart.
Make us gentle as doves, but wise as serpents.
Keep us from harm.
Please give healing and well being and contentment.
Hear all those who cry to you.
Let all things work to gether for our good, for those who love you and are called according to your purpose.
Give us patience in affliction and Hope in all things. Blessed be the Lord God who shines forth from Zion...

Psa 50:1 A Psalm of Asaph. The Mighty One, God the LORD, speaks and summons the earth from the rising of the sun to its setting.
Psa 50:2 Out of Zion, the perfection of beauty, God shines forth.
Psa 50:3 Our God comes; he does not keep silence; before him is a devouring fire, around him a mighty tempest.
Psa 50:4 He calls to the heavens above and to the earth, that he may judge his people:
Psa 50:5 "Gather to me my faithful ones, who made a covenant with me by sacrifice!"
Psa 50:6 The heavens declare his righteousness, for God himself is judge! Selah.

An Advent Meditation

How special that time must have been,
that time of waiting,
where you lay
nestled in Mary's womb,
seranaded by the beating of her heart,
each beat proclaiming
her love for you,
and in the comforting waters
you lay secure,
safe in your mother's love,
safe under your Father's care,
safe under Joseph's watchful eye.

O Lord,
in this day
where we seem to think
that special time,
that advent
awaiting the unborn
is a signal to remove the inconvenience,
be with all mothers
who faced with difficult choices
may, like Mary,
say yes to life.

Amen.
