Unless the LORD builds the house, those who build it labor in vain. Unless the LORD watches over the city, the watchman stays awake in vain.
Psalm 127:1>
At this time, when feelings run high, the world seems crazy, and anger seems to be the one thing the peoples of the world have in common, I invite you, my fellow FReepers, to join me in prayers and meditation for guidance, God's help and for our fellow man, for America, our troops, and all our own needs.
Sweet hour of prayer! sweet hour of prayer!
That calls me from a world of care,
And bids me at my Fathers throne
Make all my wants and wishes known.
In seasons of distress and grief,
My soul has often found relief
And oft escaped the tempters snare
By thy return, sweet hour of prayer!
William Bradbury
God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble.
Therefore we will not fear though the earth should change,
though the mountains shake in the heart of the sea;
though its waters roar and foam,
though the mountains tremble with its tumult.
Psalm 46: 1-3
Please continue to pray
...as this battle is very far from over.
I am not sure how to deal with what has been going on.
He moved back home on Monday saying he was here to stay because this is where he belongs. Since that evening, and at least twice a day, he keeps crying and saying his head feels as if it is going to explode because he feels tormented because he has hurt other woman, someone he loves, and then there is me and the kids and he doesn't want to hurt us even though he already has.
These last few days my approach has been to listen, bite my tongue, and to give him his space here at home. In other words, I am not hovering over him. He and I shared some intimate moments but since then he said he cannot get involved with anyone emotionally because he is conflicted by his feelings.
I think he is headed for a nervous breakdown.
I asked him if he wanted to talk to someone and he said no. He told me that if I did not do some of the things I have done, we would not be at this point. What did I do--I called her and told her to stop seeing my husband, that sort of thing.
This is, in my opinion, a spiritual battle--Satan vs. God. It should be an easy choice but he has an ultra obsessive personality and he is very harsh on himself and he feels that he is inadequate in the eyes of God, and that he can never be happy again.
He also told me that the only stability he has ever had was with me and the kids.
Today, he went back to work. He said he did not know what time he will be home which means he will be seeing her - I think.
I know there is nothing in my power I can do. But I am praying that God brings him to his senses and allows him to see that what he is doing is wrong and disobedient to God.
I don't know if I have worded everything properly above but this is the best I can do at the moment.
Thanks for your continued support and prayers.
Pray Everyone is having a Good Day!
So Lovely it Brings Tears. Thank you for this Blessing, Dear bp7!
You are in my Prayers, hsmomx3, that our Master will Turn this Situation Around, and will Bring him to his Senses. I Know Someone who is Angry at our Lord, and whose Life is Spent in Hating Others and in Cursing, and that is Bad Enough. I can't Imagine what you are Going through, (((((hsmomx3)))))
"God's love is meteoric,
His loyalty astronomic,
His purpose titanic,
His verdicts oceanic.
Yet in his largeness
Nothing gets lost;
Not a man, not a mouse,
Slips through the cracks.
How exquisite your love, O God!
How eager we are to run under your wings,
To eat our fill at the banquet you spread
As you fill our tankards with Eden spring water.
You're a fountain of cascading light,
And you open our eyes to light." (Ps.36:5-9)
Thank You, our Master, that You are So Great, and Nothing is too Hard for Thee. We are Thankful for Thy Strength; we Fall into Thine Arms, and Rest. Thank You, Papa-Father, for Accepting us through Jesus Christ. You are our Hope, O Lord, and we Thank You for Your Comforting Love. We Pray for a Complete Healing of hsmomx3's Situation, that You would Bring her Husband in Repentance to his Knees. Uphold Thy Children Everywhere who are Hurting, Lord Jesus. Forgive us our Sins for the Sake of our Beloved Christ. Thank You for Suffering to Bring us New Life in Thee.
We Love You, O Father our King, Praying in our Savior's Name, amen.
Dear hsmomx3
I will be praying for you today, and tonight.
Father, in the Name of Jesus, who is the HEAD of ALL principalities and powers, I ask that no unclean spirit or any danger or aggression be allowed in the home of this believer.
I ask that the Power of your Holy Spirit be present in a mighty way to end confusion and to bring truth and peace.
I pray that you, LORD of all, REDEEMER and Mighty KING would rescue and transform and rule and reign in the lives of this believer and her children. I ask for Mercy for her husband.
Bring him to true repentance. Stop the mouth of the adversary who is lying to him. Break the teeth of the devourer.
Psa 91:1 He who dwells in the shelter of the Most High will abide in the shadow of the Almighty.
Psa 91:2 I will say to the LORD, "My refuge and my fortress, my God, in whom I trust."
Psa 91:3 For he will deliver you from the snare of the fowler and from the deadly pestilence.
Psa 91:4 He will cover you with his pinions, and under his wings you will find refuge; his faithfulness is a shield and buckler.
Psa 91:5 You will not fear the terror of the night, nor the arrow that flies by day,
Psa 91:6 nor the pestilence that stalks in darkness, nor the destruction that wastes at noonday.
Psa 91:7 A thousand may fall at your side, ten thousand at your right hand, but it will not come near you.
Psa 91:8 You will only look with your eyes and see the recompense of the wicked.
Psa 91:9 Because you have made the LORD your dwelling place-- the Most High, who is my refuge--
Psa 91:10 no evil shall be allowed to befall you, no plague come near your tent.
Psa 91:11 For he will command his angels concerning you to guard you in all your ways.
Psa 91:12 On their hands they will bear you up, lest you strike your foot against a stone.
Psa 91:13 You will tread on the lion and the adder; the young lion and the serpent you will trample underfoot.
Psa 91:14 "Because he holds fast to me in love, I will deliver him; I will protect him, because he knows my name.
Psa 91:15 When he calls to me, I will answer him; I will be with him in trouble; I will rescue him and honor him.
Psa 91:16 With long life I will satisfy him and show him my salvation."
Amen

Psa 51:6 Behold, you delight in truth in the inward being, and you teach me wisdom in the secret heart.

2Co 7:1 Since we have these promises, beloved, let us cleanse ourselves from every defilement of body and spirit, bringing holiness to completion in the fear of God
..........
Act 15:8 And God, who knows the heart, bore witness to them, by giving them the Holy Spirit just as he did to us,
Act 15:9 and he made no distinction between us and them, having cleansed their hearts by faith.

Heb 10:22 let us draw near with a true heart in full assurance of faith, with our hearts sprinkled clean from an evil conscience and our bodies washed with pure water.
Heb 10:23 Let us hold fast the confession of our hope without wavering, for he who promised is faithful.
Oh Father, reveal yourself. Let me see you in Jesus and in your Word.
You hid Moses in the cleft of the Rock with your hand as you went by.
We are hidden in that Rock, Jesus, and are seated in heavenly places with Him.
I thank you for the gift of faith that cleanses my heart.
Lord, I fear offending you and not being aware of some besetting sin that would cut me off from your presence.
I ask that you would renew a right spirit in me.
Help me to have a pure heart that sees you at all times.
Thank you for the Perfect Cleansing from the Blood of the Lamb.
Even now, you are at work in us to conform us to your Son's
image and it is most Holy and Blessed that you have drawn near to us.
I long to stay here.

Blest are the pure in heart,
For they shall see our God;
The secret of the Lord is theirs;
Their soul is Christs abode.
The Lord, Who left the heavens
Our life and peace to bring,
To dwell in lowliness with men
Their Pattern and their King.
Still to the lowly soul
He doth Himself impart;
And for His cradle and His throne
Chooseth the pure in heart.
Lord, we Thy presence seek;
May ours this blessing be;
Give us a pure and lowly heart,
A temple meet for Thee.
He set them in place
From all time to eternity;
He gave his orders,
And that's it! (Ps.148:1-6)
Your Excellency, Your Glory has us in Awe; All Creation Praises Your Name, and Lifts You Up as our Heavenly Designer, our King. Your Fingerprints are Everywhere All Around us, and we Marvel at Your Workmanship and Your Grace. Even More Marvellous is the Transformation of a Soul, the Bringing of a Sinner to New Life in Christ. How we Long to be Like You, to Display Your Character and Your Love! Shine through us, our Shepherd, our Lord, and Conform us to the Image of Your Son.
Thank You for Your Blessings and Gifts, Granted to us in our Master Jesus Christ. We Rely Upon You, our Dependable God, for Deliverance from our Wickedness and Sins. Save our America, O Great King of Saints, and Make her a Glory Unto Thee. Protect Your Land of Israel, and Keep her Safe from her Every Foe.
Be Pleased, our Master of Grace, to Answer the Prayers of Thy Lambs. Through Christ we Look to You; we Trust in Thy Merits and Thy Love. Cover us with Thy Righteousness, as we Pray for the Glory of the King, amen.

1Jo 3:21 Beloved, if our heart does not condemn us, we have confidence before God;
1Jo 3:22 and whatever we ask we receive from him, because we keep his commandments and do what pleases him.
1Jo 3:23 And this is his commandment, that we believe in the name of his Son Jesus Christ and love one another, just as he has commanded us.
Oh Father,
We need your help to abide in you.
If we abide in you, then when we ask for Revival in this Country, we will have it.
Father, forgive and help unbelief and unrepentance, hardened hearts.
We are weak and blind at times.
We are also willfully disobedient at times.
We need forgiveness and strengthening and all grace you have extended to us.
We want to bring down Blessings from heaven upon Your Church in this country and we ask that you would save many souls in a great harvest.
Don't delay.
Don't let us prevent you from showing your great Mercy and Love.
I ask that as we draw near to you, we would intercede more and more with Jesus, and we would see the fruit of our labor in prayer.
I ask that TRUTH would triumph today in Churches, Government, Schools, industry, business, Military, healthcare, commerce, and in our homes.
Be triumphant LORD and turn us back to you.
I ask this in Jesus' Name
Joh 15:7 If you abide in me, and my words abide in you, ask whatever you wish, and it will be done for you.
Joh 15:16 You did not choose me, but I chose you and appointed you that you should go and bear fruit and that your fruit should abide, so that whatever you ask the Father in my name, he may give it to you.

Revive Thy work, O Lord,
Thy mighty arm make bare;
Speak with the voice that wakes the dead,
And make Thy people hear.
Revive Thy work, O Lord,
Disturb this sleep of death;
Quicken the smoldring embers now
By Thine almighty breath.
Revive Thy work, O Lord,
Create soul-thirst for Thee;
And hungering for the Bread of Life
O may our spirits be.
Revive Thy work, O Lord,
Exalt Thy precious Name;
And, by the Holy Ghost, our love
For Thee and Thine inflame.
Revive Thy work, O Lord,
Give Pentecostal showers;
The glory shall be all Thine own,
The blessing, Lord, be ours.
.........
When in His might the Lord arose to set us free,
And Zion was restored from her captivity,
In transports then of joy and mirth
We praised the Lord of all the earth.
The nations saw with fear the might of God displayed,
When He at last drew near to give His people aid;
Great things for us the Lord has wrought,
And gladness to our hearts has brought.
Again refresh us, Lord, with Thy reviving love,
And be Thy blessing in mercy poured in mercy from above;
By grace revive our hearts again,
As streams refreshed by copious rain.
Although with bitter tears the sower bears his seed,
When harvest time appears he shall be glad indeed;
For they that in the sowing weep
Shall yet in joy and gladness reap.
--Paraphrase of Psalm 126, in The Psalter, 1912.

Lord,
You offer so many graces to us,
your poor benighted children here on Earth,
graces that fall to the ground too often unwanted, ignored, unseen.
How often we turn to run to the dark when you offer us
that purifying light that will heal the aching in our hearts
as if it were some bitter tonic
instead of the Living Water,
perfect tonic for all that ails us.
Forgive us, Lord,
for the ingratitude of our wayward hearts,
for the cold determination to do what we want,
no matter what the cost.
Soften our hearts, O Lord, and open our eyes,
scaled over by sin and and willfullness and lack of trust,
until we see you standing there,
waiting patiently with outstretched hands,
ready to transform us step by step,
grace by grace
until you have made us into the child of light
you would have us be.
BTTT
Amen.
Thanks for the many prayers.
I have also ben praying Hosea 2 about the Hedge of Thorns.
Yesterday, he came home at about 6PM, which is the time OW gets off work. I was certain he would stay late but he did not. And his cell phone he puts on the dresser now when he comes home.
God is working miracles here, even if they are small steps.
Prayers for you, friend.
Now LORD, REDEEMER KING, we praise you and thank you for encouraging our sister.
You are strong LORD, and NO ONE can prevent you from accomplishing your will.
Let your Peace continue in this house for we have called it there. Let a deep abiding silence wait upon your Word to this man so that no distraction will keep him from hearing Your Voice.
Give the believer patient endurance and Humility in the face of your goodness.
In Jesus' Name we ask this.
Here is Something Wonderful by our Brother William Cowper:
Contentment (Philippians, iv. 11)
Fierce passions discompose the mind,
As tempests vex the sea,
But calm, content and peace we find,
When, Lord, we turn to Thee.
In vain by reason and by rule
We try to bend the will;
For none but in the Saviour's school
Can learn the heavenly skill.
Since at His feet my soul has sate,
His gracious words to hear,
Contented with my present state,
I cast on Him my care.
"Art thou a sinner, soul?" He said,
"Then how canst thou complain?
How light thy troubles here, if weigh'd
With everlasting pain!
"If thou of murmuring wouldst be cured,
Compare thy griefs with mine!
Think what my love for thee endured,
And thou wilt not repine.
"'Tis I appoint thy daily lot,
And I do all things well;
Thou soon shalt leave this wretched spot,
And rise with me to dwell.
"In life my grace shall strength supply,
Proportion'd to thy day;
At death thou still shalt find me nigh,
To wipe thy tears away."
Thus I, who once my wretched days
In vain repinings spent,
Taught in my Saviour's school of grace,
Have learn'd to be content.
Thank You, Your Majesty, for the Works of Your Servant, William Cowper. You are Mysterious and Great in Your Works, our Lord. 'Now Unto the King Eternal, Immortal, Invisible, the Only Wise God, be Honor and Glory Forever and Ever, Amen!' (1Tim.1:17)
