Couldn't care less if Mehlman is gay or not. However, two days ago he failed miserably and should ride off into the sunset with the partner of his choice.
I DO know that Bill Maher is an insufferable jerk who shouldn't be listened to on any topic at all.

Liberals like Bill Maher actually loathe homosexuality-
That's why they consider "outing" someone's private homosexuality to be a smear. They cloak this under the guise of exposing "hypocrisy". As if homosexuals and heterosexuals alike cannot share common family values. Such as privacy and sanctity within one's own home.
Maher is a disturbed individual. Seeing him mock dead Steve Irwin as a Halloween gag- within weeks after seeing Irwin's' grieving widow with her small children- was very telling of his state of mind.
One has to wonder - is the source Maher's own self- loathing? And of what?

I don't believe Maher. He's a liar. Furthermore, I am not interested in the details of Mehlman's private life. It is absolutely none of my business.
Maher knows that once the accusation is out there, Mehlman is effectively smeared. The idea is planted and he will be viewed as gay -- true or not -- by a lot of idiots who love gossip.
I do not know or care about Mehlman's sex life, but I do know that Maher is a filthy low life.

It's long been news. Anybody who follows insider DC politics knows this rumor. Everybody knew that Foley was gay, they didn't know about the pages though. Everybody knows about David Drier. Mehlman has been known about for years and years.
