Yeah, I know. Another vanity. But I'm wondering...any chance he might flip?
He will surprise.
Yes... to the Dems...
That is why I was entertaining the thought...
IBTZ?
Here's another acronym...WTF?
Sure there's a chance. There's also a chance nancy pelosi will flip. They're probably very similar.
I can't see Lieberman flipping unless the democrats pass a joint resolution for the destruction of Israel and then a massive appropriations bill earmarked for Al Qu'aida.
Because he is a Democrat, and he is being true to his party, even if the current crop of dummies forced him out to make an anti-war statement. And when he runs for re-election again in six years, I'd bet it will be as a Democrat again.
Cuz he's a hooooooor.
It is definitely possible, but I don't think so. If he did though, the 'rats would scream bloody murder. It would be a spectacle for the ages.
Put down the beer and step away from the computer.
He has stated that there is nothing the Republicans can offer him to get him to switch.
No, because aside from the Loons convinced themselves of, he's a loyal Liberal Democrat.
But he will be the swing vote in the Congress and at least when it comes to the WOT, that will be a far better development then had Lamont won.
The entertainment value alone would be a thing to behold.
no
Boy, would that be sweet!
BUT, remember the old saying about the "snowball in hell"?
Seriously, I would just absolutely LOVE to watch the circus if he DID switch!!
So you think there's a chance.
He might, depends on the RAT policy in Iraq.
Botched joke. ;~)
I doubt it, but hopefully we can get him to help us on certain things. I expect massive gridlock in the next couple years, as the Senate can't do much without a 2/3 majority, and some of the incoming Dems in both houses aren't nearly as insane as Pelosi and company. A lot of the repubs that lost were RINOs that weren't always helpful to our cause anyway.
Not bloody likely, unless Harry Reid turns into an even bigger idiot than he already is and strips him of his seniority. Even then probably not--though he'd be one case where a RINO in the Senate would be a welcomed development.
