I have decided to take some time away from FR for a while. This election had something to do with it, I'll admit. MAybe I just need to stop feeling upset every time I read a thread on how bad it was last night. It was bad, but I believe in miracles. Maybe in 2 years the country will see how bad San Francisco style leadership is in the House and restore the House back to the Pubbies. Maybe two years in the minority will make them learn a lesson they will never forget. If they reclaim power, they better use it to advance conservative principles, or they may never get it back again.
How rude of me. I read your vanity but then saw that blast from the Hee Haw past and ended up on memory lane.
I think alot of us are feeling the way you are, Big Steve, but we can't motor on if we park the car in the garage. ;) Have a peaceful timeout, Big Steve.
I tell that to my users when they call me with a computer question...
Enjoy your rest.
True enough. Arthur Itis said so. ;)
"Thanks" that means I am not alone. :)
Did anyone here really believe that the GOP would hold Congress forever? Anyone who did needs their head examined. The political pendulum swings both ways and last night it went the other direction.
You can always do like I do when the third party gloating gets too much...take a shower and lurk at DU for a while to get a little self respect back.
That's a good one:')
LOL!
Just happy warriors. Got a good clock-cleaning, but I don't think we're down for long. Right now I think both Dems and Repubs are going to need reminding that conservatives are still out there. Tony Snow seems to think we died and blew away.
Emerald is better.
Yep, that'd do it. But I'd take the shower AFTER lurking at DU.
lol!
Hey Chena, someone stole your tagline! Can the day get any worse?
"not a war to be won but a situation to be solved."
Hmm. Houston, we have a problem.
Found it. LOL
Well...yeah. ;) One house of Congress would have been nice.
Actually the loss seemed strange because the Conservative/Republican momentum seemed high for the most part. It's almost as if, now it's just a thought, that all the predictions that the MSM were pushing were MADE/manufactured, but that was not what actually happened in the voting booths.
I know that's not the case, though.
Hi, I'm here. I may be on FR a little less, too, but that is because I have to try to stop Hillary.
