I have decided to take some time away from FR for a while. This election had something to do with it, I'll admit. MAybe I just need to stop feeling upset every time I read a thread on how bad it was last night. It was bad, but I believe in miracles. Maybe in 2 years the country will see how bad San Francisco style leadership is in the House and restore the House back to the Pubbies. Maybe two years in the minority will make them learn a lesson they will never forget. If they reclaim power, they better use it to advance conservative principles, or they may never get it back again.
I am thinking of taking a bit of a break too. I plan to read books not blogs and watch HGTV instead of FNC. I'll be back soon I know, but my brain, my kids, and my sanity need me off the stuff for a while. I lost my senator last night (Rick) and I am a bit bitter now. :(
I was taking a break and came back last night. I guess it goes bothways.

My grandmother cleaned the church and played her own Hammond B-3 there for most of her life. It was always fun to spend the day at Granny's house because that meant you got to help her clean the church. Which in reality really meant running around in a big empty church house doing nothing while Granny cleaned the church. I was 8 years old at the time.

I hang around on a discussion board where the political forum has quite a few lefties. They are constantly ragging on Republicans for every little thing, and we conservatives are always defending the Republicans from their attacks. Well there will be no more of that for me. I'm going to go look for the highest quality websites and blogs that poke fun at the Dems and I am going to throw it back in their faces. And I think I will change my signature to this:
"Why won't this worthless Democratic Congress do something about the illegal aliens?"
Mine started at 7 while I was busy sing Hee Haw!
