Jim "Sudafed-counter" Talent. I still would have voted for him.

....and a Republican leadership worried more about power then reform and.....hmmmmm....maybe US, the American people....Nothing of substance has been accomplished in Congress in two years....sometimes that is good....but not so in this case
To: Positive
Talent at least seemed like a decent guy... Ditto on the rest.

Bah, only 1 reason Repubs lost. They no longer represented the actual Repub voters.
Big Spending
Big Government
Big Borders

republicans lost because they lost their way. Big spending, acting like rinos, allowing corruption to go on in their ranks.
This should be a wake up call. I wonder if people will take the hint, or try to run more 'moderates' like rudy in 2008.

The Talent commercials I saw were odd. Except the negative ads which were on message. The others were either promoting something liberals would like or declaring he was not and has not "rubber stamped" the President. Okaaaay. Yawn. So what.

Yep, that is it. All the issues the Dims had were promoted endlessly by the MSM. An awsome display, really.

The same thing that wrecked the R's will happen to the D's. The fractured D's will be to busy trying to increase their power, attack the R's and forget about doing anything meaningful for the country.
Does anyone think that the D's will address the following?:
- Terrorism
- Illegal Immigration
- Tort Reform
- Runaway health care costs
- Meaningful tax reform
- energy exploration and reduction of foreign dependance
- Trade gaps
And the wheel goes round and round. Kinda like a turd circling the bowl.

Get real Positive! All of them were winners in the past. They lost because of Iraq. In the case of Dewine and Santorum there were local considerations.

The number one reason...IRAQ!
As much as I hate to admit it.

Republicans lost because they became fake Demonrats.
It always works the same way: when having to choose between a fake and the real thing, voters tend to choose the real thing.
