The GOP didn't lead.
You're right.
We lost because of a pervasive and dominant left wing press that has convinced a majority of Americans that our economy is in shambles and the Iraq war has been lost. Both of which are patently false. The loss of Talent, Steele and Santorum to ignorant boobs is particularly hard to understand.
Correct, sir.
Because the current GOP is a spineless, wimpy party, whom about a 1/3 of which are RINOs. This is not all bad, (good to see Chafee gone for example). This will give the non-attentive folk in America a chance to really see the Dims for what they really are. When the Dims try to run things in Congress, it will be an eye opener.
This will only help the GOP in 2008.
Right on.
I bought into the to Republican Revolution of 1994 - The Gingrich wave - the Contract with America. The Congressional Democrats had turned corrupt with power. The first few years it is looked good and then the power corrupted the Republicans and they turned into Democrats or Washington Republicrats
From the beginner I have always felt when you look to actions/results - there is not a dimes worth of difference between to Republicans and the Democrats. The Republican Revolution fizzle supports this point.
I was hoping Steele and Ehrlich might win to save Republican dignity - but does either party have any dignity?
Bush has gone mushy - I supported him but I really don't like the way he is handling the presidency anymore.
Republicans got what they deserved - Republicans were not robbed.
This should end the "Diebold is controlled by Republicans" claptrap.
THE BEST POST I'VE SEEN TODAY:
Republican Congress people are about to be schooled in how to act like the majority.
