He's the only one we've got, our soldiers are at war in lands far away, America is at war around the World. We gathered here at Free Republic are one of the truest bastions of support for a strong America.
We are not quitters. Hazards Yet Forward!
Those of us who support the president came up short on Tuesday. Bush and Rove better figure out fast how to regain the political advantage, or he'll fade into lameduck irrelevancy for the rest of his term.
I voted. I gave money to campaigns/GOTV. I volunteered and called lot of voters in Montana to go to polls.
What part of that was being disloyal?
And that's a good thing. I just found out that the proposition making English our state's official language won huge! Of course, the clowns on the unicycles over at the 9th Circus are going to declare what we did "unconstitutional." Oy!
We need fighters as leaders come January. And this includes the White House. We need warriors. I heard Pence mentioned a House GOP leader. I down with that. But I doubt Mitch McConnell will be much of an improvement over Frist. And Rove needs to figure out how to finally put in place an effective White House communications strategy.
And comprehensive immigration reform is what he will get. You hardnoses assured us that if we were tough on illegal immigrants, building the fence, secure the border first without also addressing a guest worker program, that this would carry us to victory. You were wrong.
ROFL.....first time I have laughed all night. You tell 'em Johnnie.
Watch those republicans who want to run for presidency avoiding to be seen with him.
Facts are facts people.....immigration lost as an issue tonight so stop shoving it down our throats every 10 minutes. For some of us, hard working Christians coming over our border to work is not nearly as terrifying as the lazy ass Americans who sit around and drag checks from the government.
Interestingly, the real story is that in Connecticut the dems chose a man who wants to win the WOT and stay in Iraq. That was a win for the good guys and the true referendum on Iraq. Not the national election.

Yours is the sanest post I've read this morning. We got our butts kicked to be sure but this is a lost campaign in a long battle.
People here have to fire up their memories to that halcyon year of 1974 to remember what real dejection felt like. It was so bad the elders of the Republican party considered changing its name.
6 years later we had RR. W ain't no RR but we've got to support him during, what is sure to be, the most difficult part of his presidency.
I feel bloodied and bruised but intend to fight on.
Great point.
