You can't be serious. Even if Allen miraculously pulls his re-election out of the fire, his national aspirations are dead.
Win or lose, George Allen's future political career is over. He'll never be anything but Senator again - if he somehow manages to eke a win out (which doesn't look likely).
Unless the lawyers pull out this Senate race, which they most likely won't.....he is toasty.

This way, instead of having only a few threads with hundreds of posts each (ie, discussion threads), we will have hundreds of threads, each with two comments.
