If Democrats Do Win Congress
November 7, 2006 | Lew Waters

Posted on 11/07/2006 8:29:26 PM PST by DakotaRed

Just a thought I had, but can you imagine the anti-war leftists if they succeed in giving Democrats control of the House and Democrat Charles Rangle, who would become head of the Ways and Means Committee, got his desire to reinstate the military draft?

They can whine in their BDU's while I'll be smiling in my "Don't Blame Me, I Voted Republican" T-Shirt."

Maybe a few of us in the minority ought to support Rangel's motion just for kicks...

I'm going to try to enjoy the coming spectacle and failure. Democrats want misery but they won't get it from me. Now the democrats have to preform.

"don't own stocks" - - Well, I wonder how long it'll be before the dumbocrats realize they just screwed themselves by murdering their 401K's - - They probably don't even realize their retirement money is tied-up in the stock market and NOW with what their "party for the little guy" might do they might have a "rude awakening" when they see their quarterly/yearly reports! (Nah, nevermind, they probably don't understand them there big numbers)

Let them gloat. I'm 58, already served my time and too old to be drafted, once Rangle gets his way.

Think I will join in with supporting his proposal. Let the lefty's serve some time, BWAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA.

You always get what you ask for, whether you wanted it or not.

The Democrat margin is going to be so slim, in the House, that in my opinion, Republicans have the opportunity to tie those Bush-haters up in knots, make fools of them every step of the way, and show Miss Nancy for the brain-dead ignoramus she undoubtedly is.

They can hire a bunch of crooks, they can control the MSM, but they are genuinely stupid and hateful--and vulnerable. I say we mess with them, big time. ;-D

No doubt the insurgents in Iraq are handing out sweets in the street after their victory in our election. How utterly disgusting that we would do this to our troops.

This was never anything but a political red herring. What they will do, however, is defund the Iraq war, forcing a withdrawal.

I don't think so. I believe they will make it LOOK like they're trying to do so, while the votes go otherwise.

+3?

Hmm... We should try to talk Dick Cheney into running for President in 2008... the dems may have a tough time running against a republican incumbent
