Vote. People died so you can have this right; exercise the franchise that is your birthright.

And, above all, if you do not vote, don't get angry when I tell you to shut up if you didn't vote. You don't vote, you accept the outcome. If you want to whine, you have to express your opinion at the ballot box.

Other things I don't want to hear:

** My vote wasn't counted--how do you know, it's a secret ballot.

** My vote was counted incorrectly--how do you know, it's a secret ballot.

** My vote was wrong because my ballot was handled incorrectly--how do you know, it was a secret ballot.

** I want a receipt that shows how I voted--how can you tie it back to your ballot, it was a secret ballot.

So...

Just getting ready to leave, when I saw your comments. I will have more to say on the new thread, but I really, really think we need to look at things outside the box if we are going to win.

For example, I have decided to start volunteering at my grandson's school. They need the help, since most of the moms have to work. I intend to actually do a bit of stealth teaching, by incurring a love of learning.
