Guess I lied to you all earlier. Did pour big drink, BUT ran through news side before leaving.
Thank you Dog for pulling thread together. Unfortunately, like Sunday talk show thread, is so popular cannot keep up but has best comments so far.
Fox calling on 1% - cannot believe it!!!.
Finally off to bed. God save America. Prayers up.

Thanks for being concerned about us out here on the coast. Doing Ok - river still hasn't gone down much at all, but I expect it to be better by morning.
My heart is sick tonight for our country.
Note my new tag line.

One of our local tv website..almost gloating..
And a Democrat mired in controversy over his use of a state employee to chauffer his wife, Alan Hevesi, retained his seat as State Comptroller, defeating Republican Chris Callaghan.
This guy cost the state over $100,000 and the fine people of New York re-elected him.
Do these people know what a Comptroller does?
Yet, some worry about words that are said not the action that is commited...ie, Senator Allen.
Good grief!

Thanks Kay....Tillamook has been hit hard. I did watch our local TV tonight and see that we have another monster on the way by Friday. We will need to do a lot of drying out in the next couple of days to make room for more rain.

Some sites are showing Webb in the lead now ... :-(
I hope your numbers are right but I don't like the way they are shrinking.

Absentees? Well, that sounds like a positive place to pick up Republican votes, right?

I would think that right many of VA's absentee ballots would be military ... and, hopefully, heavily R.

Hopefully, Fox will allow the absentee ballots to be counted before calling the race for Webb.
