We will not tire, we will not falter, and we will not fail!
Good morning!!
Do not let the victims of the attacks on New York and Washington, nor the brave members of our Nation's military who have given their lives to protect our freedom, die in vain!!
Today is it. Make the DemoncRATS crawl back in their hole.
Vote. People died so you can have this right; exercise the franchise that is your birthright.
And, above all, if you do not vote, don't get angry when I tell you to shut up if you didn't vote. You don't vote, you accept the outcome. If you want to whine, you have to express your opinion at the ballot box.
Other things I don't want to hear:
** My vote wasn't counted--how do you know, it's a secret ballot.
** My vote was counted incorrectly--how do you know, it's a secret ballot.
** My vote was wrong because my ballot was handled incorrectly--how do you know, it was a secret ballot.
** I want a receipt that shows how I voted--how can you tie it back to your ballot, it was a secret ballot.
So...
Let's get on with the Great American Experimnet!
For AMERICA - The Right Way, I remain yours in the Cause, the Chairmam.
Excellent! Thanks for your effort, my dear!
I will be overjoyed if he just lets me wash my hair :)
But I have my trusty bandana and it's a patriotic color and I'm wearing it to vote.
My husband voted on the way to work, and said there was a really good turnout when the he got there at 7.
When he officially walked in, there was a man in front of him, but when we vote, there are tables spread across the room listed with alphabetical names in books....(guess it is like that everywhere)
So my husband found his book and immediately started walking toward it.
The guy who had been standing ahead of my husband before the doors opened didn't react as quickly and when hubby started walking..
..this other guy huffed and puffed loudly & said....."Well, I guess I didn't walk fast enough"..
.and said it at least twice, very audibly.
So my husband stopped....turned around and told the guy very nicely to 'go ahead'..
.and hubby gently put his hand on the guy's back as he said this..
...(you don't know my husband, but gentle describes him to a T)
The man immediately turned to my husband and SNARLED...'get your hand off my back'
Well, my husband watched the man go to his alphabetical listing person....and SURPRISE!
..the man's name was not in the book!
They directed him over to special services to talk to him.
I told my husband ..'it must have been a Democrap'
The President was in the Panhandle and Crist was suppose to be there, the President was going to give him a boost!
...easily a huge tunrout for the President...(that's what Rove was referring to)...
..as gracious as our dear President is, he still tried to boost non show Crist.
I think this blunder will cost Crist...(even I was wavering at the last minute)
It certainly reflects on his lack of character.
No, thank YOU! Thanks to your links, I was "loaded for bear" with ammunition in case I had any hostile people when I called. But, I have to admit that I was very pleasantly surprised with the response to the calls I made: only one person out of over 250 that I called said he was not voting for "any Republicans". Of course I talked to a LOT of answering machines, but when I reached a live person, most were thrilled to talk to me and tell how they were planning to vote straight-ticket Republican, if they hadn't already voted absentee.
I'm sure you're going to really enjoy that headwash! And somehow I'm not surprised you've got a patriotic bandana!!
Thanks, that's what I wanted to know. It looked like he was with McCain, but I couldn't believe that he'd actually do that. Dumb move.
..and even if I can display only one ear, that will suffice :))
(maybe they'll think I'm a Republican pirate :)
Yep same day.....President Bush was in Pensacola and Crist & McCain were in Jacksonville.
When I saw the news about Crist not appearing with our President, I thought....."hmmmm, his actions reflect Guennie's opinion of him". You have excellent instincts!
Please prove her wrong folks....VOTE Republican!!!!
Whoa there, Molly! You're starting to remind me of me...
I agree with bevlar. You were right about him! I swear, McCain seems to gather the weasels and wishy-washy to his side, doesn't he?
I am going to vote if I have to swim there! We are having humdingers of storms out here in WA state.
These kind of folk always show their true colors...eventually.
Today...(I changed my mind) now I'm wearing a red red dress, white sweater and blue bandana to vote :))
That is funny....I just hope some poll watcher or newsie didn't over hear that or there will be all kinds of rumors of voter fraud,...
