I've only been able to just now tune into the Fox coverage and what I heard didn't sound promising at all.
Time will tell but it's worrisome.
Did anybody see Bill Sammon on the panel a few nights back. He was speculating what would happen with a shift in the House, saying very little change in really occur as the parties won't have enough votes to push through either of their agendas or bills. He did mention it would be "uncomfortable" for the president with investigations though.
The painter was here painting the keyboard drawer I had made and apparently it wasn't dry so I'm a bit hindered with freeping tonight.
I'd appreciate any relevant pings to anything huge. Otherwise, I guess FoxNews is my source instead of FR tonight.

Staying here and on The Dose. Will occasionally scan the News section, but mostly I will wait until the morning for the final results. I just am disgusted with the media and the pundits, and I refuse to give them time. I am on the Food Network where they are making buttercream icing.
On a live thread, someone posted a little after 6:10 that Major Garret reported that Hastert has been told they're going to lose 30 seats. I find that hard to believe.
I am going to my neighborhood's monthly meeting. I just might stick around to drink wine with them for a while afterward. :)

Sometimes things turn out differently than we want, but in the end it turns out well. It is our job to make sure that Plan B works even better than Plan A, if that is what we are given.

Rush and Sean were on Mark's show. All are optimistic and do not believe the exit polls that news' organizations are reporting. Sean was hinting...FNC, also!
I just saw that as of the 7th JT is OK (It's the 8th where he is). He made a purchase of something and also purchased a phone card. We still haven't heard from him directly. Also his girlfriend emailed the youngest and said that HE said to tell us he's ok and has gotten a postcard I sent him and that he loves us. He CALLED HER. LOL!
I'm a wreck going to the live thread for the early closed polls thread; I CANNOT forget to pick my sister up at 8:00 when her meeting is over :-)

I went to bed depressed and convinced we had lost in 2000, because I saw the beginning of the theft. I decided that maybe God wanted GWB to stay in Texas and that everything would work out. When I woke up, I missed the entire concede/not concede flap and my son said it was good I missed it, or I probably would have stroked out.
So, whatever happens, happens. I have donated, prayed, voted, and encouraged others to vote. That is all I can do.
At least someone heard from him. Thank goodness.

I am home briefly to change my clothes and head out once again. Turn out is extremely high here in Iowa. Ordinarily that is good news for Republicans.
But this is a strange year, and I'm not ready to predict what it means.
Hubby and I are to meet at 8:00 at Republican headquarters for Potato Soup/Chilli and whatever else they put in front of us. I hope he recognizes me. It would be so embarassing if he doesn't.
I haven't read today's thread, so I have no idea what you discussed today. I heard Rush say that a poll worker in TN has been charged with choking a voter. Do we know which one of them was a Republican? Hoping it was the voter. Altho I'll totally understand if the poll worker was a Pubbie. I've had the same urge several times today.
Oh, dear. I think the person at fault was a Democrat, but truly, I don't remember exactly.
Glad you're okay; hang in there and hopefully then you can relax after tonight.
