I've bought taco kits from Kroger that are meatless and made with soy crumbles. Unfortunately their health food dept. has discontinued that line. You can't tell the difference. I would not mind using them for chili and spaghetti. I don't know how to buy just the crumbles. I have nothing against meatless meals. No grease to clean up for starters.

By the way speaking of Kroger health food dept., I am crazy about Ling Ling Vegetarian Pot Stickers. http://www.4linglings.com/all_natural/index.html . I wonder if they would be hard to make at home.

Your regular grocery store should have at least one brand of TVP crumbles. Try looking for Boca, Yves, Loma Linda or Morningstar Farms. I'm sure you can also find them in places like Whole Foods and Trader Joes.
