It is vulgar, crude, offensive, and embarrassing.
That said, I haven't laughed that hard since Team America: World Police.

The letters in "Borat" can be rearranged to spell "abort". Coincidence? No, this movie is a vast conspiracy by someone to - well, I don't know what. We're going to see it tomorrow. Thanks for the review.

It's really super-funny. I guess I really needed a laugh.

Borat you stole my shtick!
To: Echo Talon
Maybe some Triumph the Insult Comic Dog in there, too.

Y'know... I've never seen anything Tom Green has done. But there are animals in this one too...

Watched it the other day again and still laughed so hard I was crying...not sure if I should be proud of that or not.
Have seen the promos for Borat and though I usually don't see movies like this (I lump it in with Jackass) I may have to change my outlook.

I'm still aiming to see "The Fantastic Four." Hey, maybe it's out on DVD now.

You're not missing a thing...being linked to Drew Barrymore may have been his best work...not really something to be real excited about.

This is not nearly as gross as Jackass (tho' it's not for the faint-hearted, either), and some scenes had me rolling in the aisles.
Yes, there are cringe-worthy moments, but there's enough absolute hilarity (like TA:WP) to more than make up for it.

I have enjoyed watching Sasha Cohen, though.

It's absolutely rare that I get to see anything that's not animated, or starring pirates. It was a much-needed escape. My "will have to catch it on DVD" list gets longer every week.

Am I missing a tsunami of hilarity by waiting until its out on DVD? It takes a tremendous amount to get me into a theatre...usually a Christopher Guest movie (A Mighty Wind doesn't count - it NEVER happened!).

So I'm not missing anything waiting until DVD or a matinee out in SoDak (where you can still see a movie for $4)

I don't need Borat to tell me about Kazakhstan. I've already been there and got the t-shirt. :-)

An e-mail from my husband this morning re Borat:
