Into Your hands, O Lord, we commit the events of this day. You have heard the prayers of our hearts and our lips ... You have seen the tears and took note of our anguish ... now we go forth to cast our vote. May it be, Merciful Father, that the Holy Spirit will prevail ... that the heart and conscience of the people will be quickened to recall the goodness of candidates ... that evil will resoundingly be rejected. Expose fraud to the light of truth ... let not the guilty find any refuge. Bring forth a tidal wave of voters who see life as You do ... may their votes far outnumber those who see life through the lens of the prince of the power of the air. Let not power and authority be their reward, but bring them to naught, O God we pray.
In quietness of heart we now wait upon You, O Lord, yet we continue in prayer, that we might find help and mercy in time of need.
May it be thus, O Lord, may it be thus, in the Name of the Lord Jesus Christ we pray, Amen ...
