I have had horrible problems with it. It eliminated all of my bookmarks and does not allow me to bookmark any pages. Tabs do not work either. I am trying to figure out how to go back to the older version. Any suggestions???

I haven't had any of the problems you mentioned.

Maybe it was a faulty install or the problem lies elsewhere in your specific case. I have been able to do everything you say your installation won't do, and I do it on a regular basis. So far, zero problems.

As to reverting back to older versions, they are still available....I'm not sure how you could miss that if you ever visit their home page.

There is a System Restore on MS systems. It's a way of going back to a certain "point" and restoring all the settings and information that was there at the time. It may mean that any new information or settings after that point may disappear so you want to look at this closely before deciding if you want to do this or not. It was really helpful for me, though, after I "lost" a load of data when some changes I made wiped them out.

I had similar problems and downloaded Mozilla Suite (TB & FF) and everything reappeared. Give it a try you'll like it.

You should get a little extension that backups and restores all your extensions, bookmarks, settings, etc, so you won't ever lose them. It's called FEBE.

If you haven't yet resolved your problem with missing bookmarks: here's how I fixed that problem.

Uninstall the new version. Then open Task Manager to make sure no other firefox processes are running. Restart, then reinstall v 2.0.

All my bookmarks reappeared and I could use tabs again. I hope this helps.
