I have visited their homepage and all the links point to 2.0. Don;t get me wrong, i love firefox and have used it for around 2 years. But 2.0 is not working on my machine. i removed it and re-installed and had the same issues.

To get Firefox 1.5, you might want to check this URL: http://developer.mozilla.org/en/docs/Firefox_1.5_for_Developers

Why does it work on all my machines, all the ones at work and on my friends' computers and not on yours....that's a mystery to me.

Select a mirror.

Select "firefox > releases >", followed by the version of your choice.
