LIFE STYLE EXTRA (UK) - Nicole Richie allegedly collapsed at a Hollywood nightclub in the early hours of yesterday morning (29.10.06).
'The Simple Life' star - who announced on Friday (27.10.06) that she was seeking medical treatment for her dramatic weight loss - passed out at 2am at hip night spot Hyde.
A source told gossip website TMZ.com: "An employee approached Nicole and her friends and said he was calling 911. They told him not to make the call and that they would take her to hospital themselves. Then they carried her out of the back door."
It is not yet known if Nicole, the 25-year-old adopted daughter of singer Lionel Richie, made it to hospital.
A spokesman for Nicole confirmed she was in Hyde for approximately 20 minutes but has denied she collapsed.
Before she allegedly collapsed witnesses saw Nicole hanging out with actress Lindsay Lohan.
At 6.45am yesterday Lindsay is said to have been spotted sitting in her car by a man walking his dog on Sunset Boulevard, in Hollywood.
The 'Mean Girls' star was said to be talking on the phone and "freaking out".
Lindsay called the dog walker over and told him that two men in a sliver Toyota 4Runner, parked behind her, had been following her for two hours and was trying to hit her car.
The man said: "She seemed out of it. She looked like she'd been out all night. She'd been crying and there was mascara all over her face. She told me, 'I've called the cops. But the cops can't catch them.'"
The two men in the Toyota were paparazzi photographers but before the passer-by could tell her, Lindsay drove off with the Toyota in hot pursuit.
Fat, drunk and stupid on the other hand...

Hmm, I take it "eating disorder rehab clinics" do not operate the same way as other treatment centers - IOW, you don't have to stay there on the premises?
