Sure but it is human nature to take your time and see if the problem will solve itself.

I doubt the NC Bar could have had a hearing on this matter by now and taken action against Nifong. As you know there is an investigation, due process right for Nifong etc. They are likely investigating the complaints they have received.

If Nifong is defeated, they can take the far easier actions of sanctioning a private citizen attorney. If Nifong wins, they probably are on track in their investigation.
