Here's the deal with pictures:
I'm trying to hook up a DVD player to my little t.v.
That's it. I followed the directions and nothing is happening.
There are yellow, white and red cords and I put them in the holes and nothing happens. Two hours and I still get nothing. FReeper help needed...please.

Nice Rack! Thank you, but that compliment should go to MG70, not I. I'm rackless.

May I suggest that you take close up pictures of the back each piece of equipment that you want to hook up and then post the pictures. Someone can then come along and tell you exactly how to hook it up quickly without alot of frustration on your part. Also I suggest that before you get started that you make sure your TV will not need a RF Modulator to hook up the DVD/VCR. One of these are needed when you have an older TV.
If you need help on where to store the pictures and how to post them on FR then learn how to do that beforehand. Someone on FR will help you.

Jolly good! I really do recommend you seek out a component (red/green/blue) cable (when you hook it up, I believe you would hit the TV/Video button one more time to get into Video 2) whenever you can. You are using a composite cable, which is a step in quality below an S-video cable, which is a step in quality below a component cable. If you don't care about that stuff at all, ignore.

Oh, yeah. If you ask for a component cable at Best Buy, they will probably try to steer you to a very expensive Monster Cable, but you don't need all of that. A generic component cable will do.
Hmm. Looking around, it looks like the chains only carry the expensive cables. Amazon has some starting at $8, but I'm thinking you should probably forget this advice if the only ones readily available are $30+.

Thanks for all your suggestions, I really appreciate them.
I now wonder what #63 was and why it was pulled. Oh well.
Enjoy your Sunday, stlnative.

Great idea! I'm printing it now.
I have my list of the DVD I want to buy over time:
Office Space
Rounders
Trains, Planes and Automobiles
Fargo
Meet The Parents
The Godfather I and II
Breakdown
