Oh, them are fighting words, kittymom.
I am proud that Josh Groban is a Los Angeles native, AS AM I.

By the way, your attitude is not much of a recommendation for where YOU were born and raised.

I apologize. I actually meant more of the celebrity self absorbed entitlement mindset of Kalifornia.

Apology accepted. But you don't know what you're talking about. It's best you leave the subject of California alone and stick to music.

By the way, when you refer to "Kalifornia mindset" keep in mind that Free Republic is based in California.

I shouldn't have lumped the 2 together. I was talking about celebrity California and shouldn't have done that. I have been to California and I loved it. Santa Barbara, Sonoma, Napa Valley very very beautiful.

Okay, fine. Josh is actually typical of a California native. A non-pretentious regular guy.

I was lucky enough to see Josh in concert during his last tour and I hope he comes back again next year. The concert was in a word OUTSTANDING, if any of you have a chance to see him I highly recommend it.
Josh was the first "classical crossover" artist that I was turned on to and since I discovered his music I have since found a bunch of other ones that I absolutely love. I have loaded all of these cd's to my Ipod and no matter how bad or hectic my day is they never fail to make me feel peaceful and content. It's like a soul soothing mini vacation for my emotions. Even when I can't understand the words it doesn't matter to me. In fact I feel that I appreciate the beauty of the singers voice's even more when I don't get distracted by the words.
My DH has promised to take me to Italy within the next 2-3 years so I can go to the opera in Rome. That is my dream and he will suffer through my dream if I let him have his dream to go play golf at St. Andrews in Scotland.
Thanks for the ping, I'm listening to the music from the link as I type this, what a great escape for a Saturday afternoon.

My wife and I love to listen to him. Both houses we have sold have been with Groban playing in the background and the persons that bought each house recognized him during the walk through. We call him "open house music"

Wow, Your future trip to Italy sounds wonderful.
Yes, Josh is great in concert isn't he? His voice is so soothing--never screaming or forced. A true talent.

Already ordered it....waiting and watching the mail.
Hey, do tickets go on sale tomorrow, or are they just putting up tour dates?
