Traditional bonfire food in Britain.

Jacket potatoes done in the oven not microwave all crispy and smothered in butter, salt and pepper.

Hot British sausages (links) with fried onions and mash potato. Sausage rolls, you can use the meat from the link sausages to make these or in Britain one can either buy them ready made or you can buy just sausage meat which is easier to roll out.

Sausage rolls in case one is not familar with them are short crust pastry (like you would use for chicken pie) covering sausage meat baked in the oven like you would any type of pie until cooked and golden brown. They are great hot or cold.
As tastes change in Britain quite a lot of people would also have BBQ type food or Chilli and of course the great British favourite curry.

On the sweet side traditionally treacle toffee with lemonade powder or apples covered with treacle toffee. I will see if I can find a treacle toffee recipe.
