To everyone reading this thread...

MAC address filtering is useless! SSID hiding, useless. WEP encryption, broken and next to useless. The only way to secure your wireless access point is WPA.

My college daughter moved into an off-campus apartment complex and we fired up her computer. There were 7 available wireless networks available and 5 were totally open.
