did you lose your bookmarks? this would be a deal breaker for me.

Apparently some folks have lost bookmarks. They suggest that you back them up first. Check out this forum page:

I haven't have any problem with bookmarks. You can always back up your bookmarks. Copy the bookmarks.html file in the %SYSROOT%\Documents and Settings\{Username}\Application Data\Mozilla\Firefox\Profiles\{alphanumeric code}.default\ directory someplace safe.
