Please take my survey! (vanity) WOMEN ONLY
me

Posted on 10/22/2006 1:30:47 PM PDT by ilovew

If anyone would like to help me out, I'm doing a research paper on women and national security. (Sorry, guys, my topic had to be related to my gender.) I decided to make up a survey. So if you're female and you would like to help me, you can either post here or you can FReepmail me your responses. Either way is fine. I'd REALLY appreciate it if you can help! Thanks :)

1. When voting, how important is national security to you (on a scale of 1 to 10)? Explain why.

2. Do you agree with President Bush's national security policy? Why or why not?

3. How does the United Nations affect the national security of the United States?

4. Do you think that security moms played a major role in the 2004 presidential election? Explain why.

5. Who do you believe has contributed the most to the national security of the United States? Why?

1. On National Security it is a 10 with me. It is basic to the preservation of all our other rights and freedoms.

2. Overall, yes I do agree with his national security policy. I fault him on not securing our borders first and for working out an amnesty plan with the illegals. They should all be rounded up, put on a boat and shipped offshore to south Mexico. When there, they should be put into lifeboats and told to "row."

3. The UN does affect the security of the US ~~ adversely. Our men are stretched out fighting in silly places (i.e. Kosovo). They are needed to protect the sovereignty of the US and to keep us safe from terrorists (i.e. Iraq and Afghanistan).

4. No. Soccer moms are a figment of the MSM. They are an invented demography.

5. The Army has contributed most to the security of the US. Followed by a close second (and my son in Iraq will kill me for saying this) the Marines. The Navy, Air Force and Coast Guard are wonderful, too. A strong fighting force is the greatest deterent to an attack.

Do I get a prize?

No one has posted publicly yet? Okay, here goes:

1. When voting, how important is national security to you (on a scale of 1 to 10)? Explain why.

Answer: At least an 8. This is the most important function of government, to protect its citizens, and THIS is what government should be doing, rather than meddling in art, education, minimum wages, or steroid use in baseball.

2. Do you agree with President Bush's national security policy? Why or why not?

Answer: As far as taking the fight to the terrorists, and for his courageous stance of standing for freedom as an element of human dignity, yes, and yes! As far as continuing to allow porous borders that threaten our national security and identity, I am concerned that he is not recognizing the danger signals.

3. How does the United Nations affect the national security of the United States?

Answer: It weakens it and actively lobbies against it, both in attempting to weaken our national sovereignty, at the same time that for any real problem (genocide in Darfur), it comes running to the US, whining for US to solve problems it has the responsibility to handle. It is dangerous because it is oblivious to the world's real dangers, and then critical of our efforts to deal with those same dangers.

4. Do you think that security moms played a major role in the 2004 presidential election? Explain why.

Answer: No. I think PEOPLE, regardless of gender, woke up on September 12, 2001, from their "holiday from history", and began to realize that other people hate us for no other reason of where we live, what religion we practice, or not, and for our freedoms. They looked around and realized that one party is, as Mark Steyn says, "fundamentally unserious" about national security, while the other party is not. People of both genders saw a principled man in the WH whose views were not shaped by polls, but who would do what he believed to be right, and that he was bold enough to stake his presidency on it.

(For more on this, I'm sending a FReepmail.)

5. Who do you believe has contributed the most to the national security of the United States? Why?

Answer: President Bush, VP Dick Cheney, John Ashcroft, Donald Rumsfeld, and the absolutely wonderful men and women of our military. They make and made the sacrifices to protect the ideals and the people of this country.

Hi all!

Can you please help our DoD intern with her research paper?

"ilovew" is a super young lady that I have enjoyed getting to know.
Regardless of what Buford says!

1. When voting, how important is national security to you (on a scale of 1 to 10)? Explain why.
10 = high (most important).
If we're not alive, how do we vote? (I'm serious.)

2. Do you agree with President Bush's national security policy? Why or why not?
Yes.
It works.

3. How does the United Nations affect the national security of the United States?
If we have a strong president (and Congress) who understands America's sovereign rights and need to protect ourselves, it's not an unbearable hindrance, but it devours a lot of our taxes, and a lot of time on the part of those who have to babysit some of the other nations represented there, to guide them to conclusions that benefit every nation's security.
A weak head of state in this country will be tempted to, and may, sell our security down the river, creating situations that can evolve into divisons, wars, problematic realigning of nations, etc.

4. Do you think that security moms played a major role in the 2004 presidential election? Explain why.
I don't know.

5. Who do you believe has contributed the most to the national security of the United States? Why?
God. He watches over the nations and wants to see people live, not die. (Ezekiel 33:11 b "... declares the Lord GOD, 'I take no pleasure in the death of the wicked, but rather that the wicked turn from his way and live." Psalm 116:15 "Precious in the sight of the LORD is the death of His godly ones.")
Second most important: the millions of people who pray that God will keep us safe, and that includes President Bush.

1. When voting, how important is national security to you (on a scale of 1 to 10)? Explain why.

10, because of 9-11 and the information I have since gained about Islam's desire to create a worldwide caliphate.

2. Do you agree with President Bush's national security policy? Why or why not?

No. I do not agree with with the President's policy of leaving our borders wide open and letting in many immigrants/students from hostile countries (2005 had the highest level of Islamic immigration ever). I believe his level of failure at protecting our borders has risen to the level of an impeachable offense. I also do not believe in attempting to "democratize" the muslim world. That is something they have to want for themselves, badly enough to fight for it.

3. How does the United Nations affect the national security of the United States?

Negatively. The UN should be abolished, or the US should stop wasting taxpayer dollars on this useless organization.

4. Do you think that security moms played a major role in the 2004 presidential election? Explain why.

I have no idea at a general level. I know I voted for Bush because Kerry inspired much less confidence on the National Security issue. He's obviously nothing more then a stuffed shirt.

5. Who do you believe has contributed the most to the national security of the United States? Why?

Tom Tancredo and the Border Patrol.
He has drawn attention to the ridiculously lax state of our borders and our overall immigration system (including VISA express, which I believe Saudi Arabia still enjoys as a privilage, despite most of the 9-11 hijackers being from that country).

The next attack on this country will come from within.

You’re doing a survey of women on a right wing web site to find what “women” think of national security? Hey look! My research shows that women are all Republicans!
