Sweetest Day Weekend
Hello, I'm Nowhere Man, host for this weekend's Singles Freeper Thread. This weekend will feature "Sweetest Day." I figure I would use this opportunity for us to talk about our first love, our sweetest love, or whatever is appropriate. As you can see, I'm ready to taxi and takeoff, so as I shove the throttles forward and get the turboprops running, we are ready to go! |
Many of us here, although single, have successfully found another to share their lives with with the hopes of making it a lifelong commitment. Even in today's turbulent world, it is quite possible. However, there are many of us who have not had the experience or much experience (including yours truly) on getting to this goal. I figure, I would devote this thread to "Sweetest Day" along with stories of how one has met their sweetest, a favorite story with their sweetests or perhaps ideas on how to go about getting their sweetests. As Ross Perot said, "I'm all ears," and I know I'm not the only one. One thing though, no sour grapes or "wizzing" in the pool here, at least keep it to the minimum. I'd like to keep the horror stories down, maybe we can do that another time, but I want to reinforce positive ideas, not negative ones. |

Anybody have any tips, suggesstions, stories, etc., on how they got their sweetest and so on. Oterwise I'm afraid I might have to strike up the "Sgt. Nowhere Man's Lonely Heart's Club Band." B-)

My all time favorite brain cell number is the Fearless Vampire Killers. I like everything about that movie. The characters, the sleigh, the castle, the dark winter scenery, the costumes. Everything.

It has been a rough weeka nd an even rougher weekend, so I just thought I would at least do a drive-by post to say hello.
I am hoping to feel more normal by next weekend and ready to share my world of spookiness.

Hey Snugs! Weather is in the 80's these last couple days. We've got some Indian Summer going on here...probably for about another week, and that's it.
I've been really, really busy at work and busy with the hubby so I haven't had much of a chance to Freep.
What's new with you?

If you have the animal around for a while the perfect name just happens.

LIke what kind of stuff?
Things have not been too well with me either, in the work department, I mean. I'm finding myself getting disgruntled all over again.
What do you have going on next week?
To: pcottraux
To: Maximus_Ridiculousness
Bills to pay, as usual, as well as some past stuff that's been on my mind lately. On Tuesday and Thursday I have to meet with my attorney so he can help me with some legal business that has been going on(I won't bring that on here although it's nothing criminal.)

That is a wonderful pix of Pansy.. Looks like she might be "discussing" here time of arrival for next meal.
I am sure you miss her still. I am still grieving over my Oliver ... and it will be a year Dec 12.
It is so frustrating to loose impt things when the computer heads south.
I am trying to have all backed up on external hard drives. I am also trying to back up the external hard drives that were the primary storing area from work.
No system is easy, complete for folks that I have observed for people who have a large amount of material. Right now my graphics take about 800 gig on various hard drives.
