All those damned Californians. No wonder the Democrats took over the Statehouse. Oops, I'm a California transplant looking into moving there so I just want you to know I have NOTHING in common with the libs turning reliably Red States Purple.

I moved here with my (California) wife six years ago, after living in Okinawa for 9 years.

I grew up next door (Utah) and I have two kids (anchor babies ?) that were born here in Colorado, so I reserve, for myself, the right to trash-talk outsiders.

There is a difference between people moving here from California to escape the sectarian/progressive cancer found there, and those who hope to expand the sectarian/progressive cancer found there.

I just fled The People's Republik and moved to Grand Junction. It's sufficiently conservative here that in the campaign ads on the radio, all candidates (including socialists) claim to be the conservative and blast their opponent as a left wing wacko. And both the opponents and proponents of ballot propositions claim that conservatives should vote against and for them, respectively.
