I don't have any affection for the Cards.

I have some affection for the METS because they play second to the team I really hate in N.Y.

If going by any degree of affection I choose the METS.

But since I'm rooting for the Tigers in the World Series I'd rather have them face a team I won't mind seeing annihilated.

Won't mind if METS win, but rooting for the Cards to be the ones beaten down by Detriot.

St. Louis plays in the world series in their new stadium. How cool is that. I remember watching Stan Musial hit a home run in Sportsman's Park. I was sitting behind a steel column.
