Week Seven brought another major upset in the Big Ten and the SEC. Iowa lost to Indiana; Vanderbilt beat Georgia snapping a 53 game losing streak to ranked teams. While this season has been kind of odd in that here have not been very many major upsets, the past two weeks have provided their fair share. The Auburn Florida game lived up to the hype and went down to the last minute with Auburn winning the game. It was not without controversy either, which is another long running story this year. This week features two games that should get top billing. Texas travels to face Nebraska while Clemson hosts Georgia Tech in a battle for ACC supremacy.

(12) Clemson (-7.5) at (13) Georgia Tech
Georgia Tech has the best defense in the ACC. They shut down Notre Dame and have been dominant in each of their other games. Clemson has a chance to really take control of the ACC with a win. Clemson will win this game, but it will be closer than a Touchdown.

Record for the year
I'll skip the sob story and just say that if I pick a game one way, you have a better than even chance of being right if you pick it the other way.

sometimes those games are the best ones....
But yes, so far it's been pretty dull in and of itself.
Usually the ESPN Thursday Night games are crazy, but with one exception, they've been pretty dull.
Iowa usually plays Michigan extremely tight. They always get up big time for this game.
maybe...
I don't know...
Iowa looks to be on the verge of a collapse. Tate has no confidence in his receivers and their defense isn't as good as it looked early on.
Michigan has a tough, tough pass rush, and he could get into trouble.
I am judging from past years, and maybe they have simply folded.
yeah....
This Iowa team is a lot younger than the past couple years. They just don't have it in them yet.
But those Freshmen will own the Big Ten title at least one time before they are out of Iowa City.
On the other hand, M has been thinking for months this would be tough game at the end of their toughest stretch.
Could be interesting.
Normally I'd agree with you, but this Michigan team is a bit different.
They haven't shown the propensity to let down this year like they have in the past....
Meanwhile...Utes 17, Lobos 3. :-) UNM can't get anything going on offense so far. About time an offense didn't show up against us, we gave Wyoming's frosh QB a watershed game last week.
Joe Paterno: "One Hellish defense"
cover that spread :)
Another good game to watch for strength of schedule is Cal v Wahington. I haven't seen Cal, but know Washington gave USC a big scare.
yep...
the OSU Michigan game should be very interesting....
If it follows, I'd bet it isn't much of a game and Cal wins by a couple TDs....
Will you be there?
I wish....
But I don't want to have to take out a 2nd mortgage on my house to get a ticket :)
I do think this is likely the best game of the year.
Should be great to watch.......or even to mortgage your house for.....
nah....
it's a sports bar for me....somewhere in Columbus probably
24-3 Utes! Man, we're such a bipolar team this year. We either dominate or just don't show up at all.
which means you'll blow out some middling BCS conference team in your bowl game....
No doubt, like we did last year against Ga Tech in the Emerald Bowl. UNM Finally scored, 24-10.
