Okay Michigan Freepers! Let's get some letters to the Editor! The election is only a little over a week away and we must save Michigan from socialism!

Did you get my freepmail about how to find the MI forum? If you did and it didn't work, let me know. The forum has been pretty busy lately, you'll get a lot more notice there than in the general forum.

Those canned letters are the corniest bit of writing I've ever seen. Blech! They're embarrassing. Can you make them more palatable?

I know, but Michigan needs your help! I know it's corny, but this is my first time being involved in Conservative politics.

I was going to write a letter agreeing with DeVos on an issue and two days later he changed his mind, backed-off, whatever. I need to find another issue to write on and none have shown up.

Here's my letter:
Dear Michigan Voters,
Vote for Mr. DeVos because he's better than Jenny.
Sincerely,

Try this:
Dear editor, These past years Michigan has become the lone state that is in a recession, and it is a deep one. We are losing businesses and jobs, and unfortunately our current Gov. has no clue on what to do about it. Sure, she promises the moon, but she is incompetent to deliver it or the jobs she promises. Time for a change. Vote deVos. *bowing*

Your letter is good! Do you think anyone would notice if the papers printed 3 or 4 versions of the same letter everyday? ;)

To access and be able to post on the state forum pages you need to edit your profile. To access your profile, just click on your screen name--that brings up your profile page. Select the edit prompt (even if you have already made a profile, this prompt should appear--you can make changes to your profile anytime). When your profile is in the edit mode, there SHOULD be a prompt which allows you to put a state flag on your page. Select your state. Conclude your edit. Your state flag should now be on your profile. When you click on that flag, you will be brought to that state's page. You can visit any state's page anytime you want via other freeper's profiles, btw, just by clicking on the various state flags as they appear on other freepers profiles, but I'm pretty sure that you can only post messages for the state in which you have chosen to be a member.
In order to return to the main forums from the state pages, you will probably need to use your browser's history marks. I've made it easier by making FR's news forum the homepage on my browser.
Try it out. If it works, post a message so I'll know you found it okay. If you still have problems, let me know.
