The only good thing about that Star Trek movie, Star Trek V (directed by William Shatner himself) was that when they got to that planet which was supposed to have the real God on it, the creature they found there said he needed their space ship. Kirk holds up a finger and says "Excuse me. What does God need with a spaceship?" The creature starts throwing bolts of lightening at him. Very satisfying.

There actually is a re-edit of that movie floating around the web where they cut it down to the length of one of the TV shows, structured it like the original show with 4 acts, replaced the music and sound effects with old show material and dropped the entire sub-plot about Spock's brother, the laughing Vulcan. It was pretty good.

Doubt it could be any worse. The emotional Vulcan was the worst part of that movie.
