It is with great excitement and optimism that I announce today the formation of a new progressive talk radio network. Myself along with my partners, Anita and Sheldon Drobny; the original cofounders of the Air America Radio Network, want to be the first to tell all you “truth seekers” that the original truth seeker himself Mike Malloy will be born again live on the public airwaves. -snip- Also joining our team will be internationally renowned pollster John Zogby

It's classic leftist thinking ... they seem to think that, if they just own the stations and force the show upon the market, that ad revenue won't take a hit. It was those darned conservative ad salespeople that screwed us over the first time, in other words. This is just going to make the next collapse all the more showy, as far as I can tell.
LOL!! I just wish they would have used "Zogby poll," because that's the way people hear it.

For those who haven't been following this story, that part isn't news. AAR suggested buying stations from square one, but never got the financing for it. Their usual suspect lib donors with more money than sense wouldn't foot the bill to buy stations. If the idea was that profitable, they would have bought the stations for themselves.
I'm no economist, but I haven't seen a business model they haven't tried. Somebody should tell them "it's the product stupid." Repackaging BS nobody's buying is still a complete waste of money, especially in a saturated market.

Once after hearing one of Malloy's rants I wrote him and told him that if he couldn't hold a decent opinion, at least he could give his views sans 4 letter words. He wrote me back with nothing but a litany of more 4 letter words. lol So..... let me be the first to say "it couldn't happen to a nicer guy."

Guess they didn't figure out what caused the first bankrupcty action, or maybe they just don't care.
History repeats itself because people don't change. Time to place bets on how long this round will last.
Another example is the color scheme for the website democrats.com. It's red, white, and blue -- real patriotic, right? But wait -- and yellow. Whoops. Given that the flags of the old Soviet bloc always featured yellow, is this a coincidence? One would like to say yes, but the left is the left and subtle little subversive touches like that are far from beyond them.

The planned second coming (barring any apocalypse) is scheduled for October 30, 2006. The Mike Malloy Show will initially broadcast live, from 9PM -12 Midnight (EST) on Nova M Radio affiliates 1480-AM KPHX Phoenix.
In addition, I’m equally excited to announce our strategic partnership with Joe Trippi and associates. Joe Trippi revolutionized electoral politics in America with his instrumental role in Howard Dean’s 2004 presidential campaign, raising over $40 million in small donor contributions over the internet. Joe created a new paradigm in how campaigns locally and nationally are conducted by leveraging the scope and breadth of innovative internet-based technologies and digital tools.
